A good book

Hi

Can anyone reccomend a good book for a twin pregnancy. I've got Dr. Stoppard's book on conception and pregnancy but I find it doesn't have much info on twin pregnancies.

Emma Mahony is the author, sorry Kski if you were looking.

This book is great, because it's just for twins & has everything you need/want to know, I use to always read little tips every now & then!

Also when your twins are born, much later " A Contented House with Twins" Gina Ford & Alice Beer (shes has twin girls)

I didn't take much notice of her rountine bit as I don't really like her that much & her ways but Alice gives you some tips & she would know being a twin mummy.

good luck.

I liked the double trouble book too. It's an easy fun book to read - even DH read it. I also bought Everything you need to know to have a healthy twin pregnancy by Gila Leiter MD. It's more medical and is American so some of the 'what to expect from your doctors' bit isn't relevant but I found it a really useful reference book to dip in and out of.

I htought I would revisit this with the benefit of experience !

the Baby Manual by Haynes

Written in the style of a car manual
with sections on body work, fueld and fuel additives, Exhuast emissions, Specifications, Running in , general maintenance and service intervals is aimed at the bloke market

It remains the only book we have with picures of 6 types of baby poo, and a simple diagnostic chart to check whether your baby is about to explode or is kust being a normal truculent child!

Funny - great advice - and easy to use -

Cookie, I loved Double trouble as well. Thought it was brilliantly written.
Will start the parenting books in a while.
