Hi violetrose, the 4month wait is for the FET waiting list!! Your review appt sldnt be that long away I dnt think, maybe someone on here will correct me!! My fresh cycle was cancelled after EC due to OHSS so haven’t been In Your position as such, but I waited 2-3weeks for review appt after my cycle was ‘paused’

Hope your doing ok whatever your journey!! X

Thanks cqcq for reply! the letter we got after failed cycle said wait would be at least 4 months....was hoping it would be sooner as holding off moving forward privately until see what went wrong if they give much info!
Best
Lots of love for your journey x

Hey Janelle
Sorry to hear you are in the same boat...
We had our review appointment last week after failed cycle at start of April so wasn't as long a wait as I thought!
Wasn't v long just basically said it was the end of the road with nhs which we knew and if wanted to go private the 2 options would be rfc/gcrm. We are hoping to explore finance side of things and try again September. All the best to you!

Hi violetrose, hope you're keeping well. Glad I popped on and saw this message. Our review is scheduled for end July but I thought you might be told more.
Good luck for whatever you decide on.

We are looking into abroad options but not sure of practicalities...if anyone has any info on Prague?

Hi violetrose, ours sounded very similar to yours. But they said that due to low fertilisation if we were to go again they'd recommend icsi. Gonna give it to the end of the year and see.

Prague seems popular but abroad isn't an option for us so don't know any details.

HI Everyone, just thought I would let you know that the owners of the new George Belfast hotel is offering couples to enter a competition for free IVF. The couple experienced problems themselves and ended up with twins. The news article is on Belfast live online news. Although my first cycle didn't work I was very fortunate to have help from family to fund it. I'm currently about to start on nhs ( not sure if there is any conditions that you can't apply if currently going through ivf) just remember reading a couple of stories on here that some women had exhausted all options and private wasn't possible.
