Can't really help with the waiting list right now, but we went on the list in 16th may 2017 and we got our letter on 2nd March (though it was dated 21st Feb so it can take a while to actually arrive). I phoned up around the 23rd/24th Feb to find out where the list was at and I was told my letter was on its way. It might he worth phoning to check, I know sometimes they just say the list is 10 months but maybe ring a few times and you might get a better answer. Fingers crossed your letters arrive soon. The waiting sucks x

Hey guys,

just off the phone with RFC and the lady said she is working on a big send out at the moment and that my letter will be with me in a few days as I am on this round of send outs. I went on the list on 19th June so think it's safe to assume Anniemc that you will prob be on that list too! Finally!

Anyone tell me one I receive my letter how long until first blood appointment and then review appointment with all the info?

Thanks
Anna

It was pretty quick turn around for me and I know some have been quicker, phone this Thursday to accept if you letter isn't with you. I accepted on the 15th Feb had bloods on the 28th Feb and pre treatment app on the 14th March. Then started my protocol on the 22nd March. Good luck for the coming weeks x

My letter was dated 21st Feb, I accepted on 23rd before my letter actually arrived then my appointments were 12th March for bloods and then 20th March for pre treatment consultation. I start my treatment on 6th April ( as that's my day 21). I would definitely phobe up on Thursday or Friday this week even if your letter hasn't arrived as it can definitely speed things up, it took my letter almost two weeks to arrive.

Thanks for response, I rang up on 15 March and the lady very helpfully ran a report and she said I should have my offer within next 2 weeks, so hopefully by end of this week!

Bbird it looks like we will be at same stage! This will be my 3rd IVF, I had 2 privately with Origin and went on waiting list as I was told if more than 3 privately you loose NHS place. I am keen to get started but aware it is a very exhausting process. x

When I called to accept I asked the expected timeframes. I have seen other timeframes from people on here who got their letters in Late November and blood appointments were allocated 2 weeks after letter then pre-consult 2weeks later.
Wonder how long it will be until we get next round of letters. Bbird i can’t see them being too strict on rescheduling pre treatment consult , but I understand your thinking as not worth the risk.

Any of you girls who have got their letters - is there any option on the letter to delay treatment for a month or 2 or does anyone know if this is possible without having to go back to the start of the list ? I went on list in August 17 but if letter comes next month I won't be able to do treatment until July but don't want to lose my spot after waiting so long

You’ll get the option to delay by 3 months, but that’s the only option and you can only delay once before going back to the start.

Hi Mrs 2017 you can delay upto 3 months which I did but there is an option for a month or two :-( . 3 months is the maximum and you can only delay once so if you do it for a month and still can’t do it your back to the start.

Mrs2017 when i got my letter I didn't start my treatment until nearly 2 months later so even if you get your letter next month it miten be until July before you start your meds anyway if wait and see what way your appointments work and then delay x

Hi girls I have been following your posts for a while now, I’d just like some advice as I see most of you are waiting on your letters. We have been trying for a year now and recently found out we have MFI and we were advised that ICSI was the only treatment available for us. A letter was sent from our GP to RFC which we know they have received. I rang them up to see if we could get the ball rolling faster and pay for our consultation to get on the waiting list, as I have been told you can do this, however when I rang the girl didn’t seem to know much about it and told me to ring GRMC who then said they no longer allowed people to do this. Just wondering is this definitely the case as I have read that people recently have been allowed to do the same thing, any advice would help, thanks.

Hey Lily, I was given the number of Dr Agbagi’s clinic when I rang to book a private review apt last year in November, so it was still allowed 6 months ago, if you ring rfc again tomorrow and ask for his number they might know more, I didn’t book it as I left it too late and was working out to be only 2 weeks before my NHS one, so I waited.
It might be that you’re not allowed to book the first apt, that you might only be able to book a review, I’m not sure but you should get the number of his independent clinic and see.
