Multiple pregnancy worries

Hi ladies, now I know I am an absolute nightmare I'm just going from one worry to the next. I'm 20 weeks and after the relief of the 20 week scan going well I am now worried about preterm labour. The only risk factor I have is the fact that it's a twin pregnancy but it doesn't stop me worrying. Does any1 else expecting multiples feels the same way? And if u did at what point did u start to relax? Everything I read online says most twins are born well at 36 weeks on so I know I need to just try and relax stress won't help 8|

Hi Pip, I was really worried about this too, and still do worry because they have said I'm a risk of premature labour because of my health problems. I felt a lot more relaxed when I reached 24 weeks and with every week that passes I feel more chilled out. You are not a nightmare, I think having twins does add to the worry because there can be added complications but the majority of pregnancies do end well and I'm trying to hold on to that :angel2: xx

Thanks Clare it's good to know I'm not the only one. I keep thinking I will relax once I get to this point or that but I just really move on to the next worry.
It's a shame to be wishing this time past but I just want to know they are ok

Hi ladies

I worried up until about 30 weeks! Lol I went into early labour at 34 weeks with my twins which was successfully stopped and I managed to hold out to 36 weeks with a lot of back and forward to The hospital lol!! Twins were Small but perfectly healthy at 36 weeks!

Try to stay relaxed babies will come when they are ready I was so calm when it came to the birth because the midwives and doctors were fantastic xx
Twins born 26-11-2014!! Girl 4lbs 3 boy 4lbs 7! Love them so so much!!

Don't give up hope ladies

Hi Pip it's such a worry!!! It really is good to know that everyone with multiples has worries though. I drive myself nuts and then worry that my worry is going to stress my babies or make me go into labour - can't win!!!!
I think it's double worry as it's two little people in there . I'm 24 weeks now and less worried but then panic if movements slow form of change, but my rational head thinks surely that's normal.
Hang in there and post your worries in here that always helps me to share xxx
