Count the kick with twins

Hi all,

Just wondering how the count the kicks works with twins. I get a lot of movement on my left side, middle, bottom of my bump and then someone kicks my cervix regularly too. There is a baby on the right (but also an anterior placenta) but I very rarely feel that one or at least I don't think I do as I don't really know which way up they are or who can reach where. Worried about righty a bit but I've only really had a couple of days when I've been certain that kicks are from that twin. But I can't say that movement has reduced as I've never felt much on that side.

24 weeks today, any advice welcome xx

Hi Gingerbean when did you start to feel movement with twins, just out of interest?
I'm 17 weeks on Thursday and haven't felt any movement. I know it's still early, but I haven't even felt any real fluttery feelings.
Big congratulations on getting to the 24 week mark. :)

Did have odd fluttery feelings around 16 weeks but around 19 weeks I could feel definite babies. Even at 20 week scan though they were moving and couldn't feel the movements I could see on screen.

They will be wiggling soon enough x

Ok thanks, I do get feelings like my stomachs grumbling sometimes and wonder if that's the start of it all. Hopefully you get answers to your twins movements. If you are worried about movements contact the midwife even for a wee bit of advice, I know you probably would anyway...xx

Hi gingerbread!

Wow big congratulations fab news! Sorry I'm only catching up on posts now!!

I found it hard to determine which twin was kicking until a lot layer in the pregnancy when I could actually see my belly move! Most freaky but fantastic experience ever!!! I found my twin one which turned out to be my little princess kicked a lot more than twin 2 my little prince and funny enough now it's the same he is a lazy wee snoozer and she is wide awake and always wanting all of the attention lol!!!

Congratulations on your twin bump!! X x
