Worst nightmare

I can't believe I am in this position again, I am 6 weeks 3 days today after my 2nd ivf. I have started spotting tonight light brown. I suffered an early loss after my 1st ivf a year ago and it started the same way.
I'm hoping and hoping things could b ok but I'm so scared and in my heart I feel it's the beginning of the end.
I don't know what I can do either, I will just need to wait until the clinic opens on Monday and give them a call but I don't know what they can do anyway.
I just can't believe this is happening again
xx

Aww Pip, I'm so sorry your going through this. Is brown spotting not supposed to be less worrying than if it's red? Are you in any pain? I've read on here loads that people spot brown blood and things turn out ok so I'm really really hoping this is the case for you. Sending you lots of love and I'll be praying that things turn out ok for you.

Oh Pip I totally understand why you're so scared. Being pg after a mc is extra stressful I think, especially as your symptoms are similar. Try and take some comfort, if you can, from the fact that bleeding is not uncommon in pregnancy, and brown blood is old blood. I had awful bleeding, red and brown, up until 18 weeks and lots of others on here have had bleeding too and all was fine. Can you get to your epu today to put your mind at ease? Hugs xx

Hi Pip,

Hope you get in at your EPU today and that everything is ok. I know how worried you must be, brown blood is not necessarily bad. Lots of ladies have spotted and been fine (I'm one of them). I know it won't stop you worrying but it helped me to know that others had gone through the same xxx

I didn't realise how common bleeding in pregnancy was Pip until it happened to me and I read up on it. Mines was bright red for 2 days and it was fine. Although it's hard try not to stress too much about it (pot, kettle, black I know)!! and get your feet up and relax. Sending you hugs xx
