terrified about scan on tuesday

Hi everyone, those of u that don't know I have a 5 year old daughter and after her we decided to try for another... Took us a year to get preg then lost it when I was 15 weeks (was devastated) then decided to try again after a while got preg after about another year of trying then lost that one at 14 weeks then we tried again and it took about another yr to get preg again and lost that one virtually as soon as I found out I was pregnant. Anyway here I am now pregnant again I'm 12 weeks today and have a scan on Tuesday I am absoloutely terrified of what they may say I've been having terrible dreams and all sorts keep thinking they are going to tell me I lost it weeks ago :( I hate feeling like this and can't stop worrying. Plus side is been put on clexane and some vitamins an haven't bled once during this pregnancy its just a horrible feeling I have. Has anyone else been in this situation? Could really do with some support about now

Hi, Hun
I am sorry for your previous losses and suspect that your feelings of dread are based on that history. Other than your little girl, you have not had good news at this point (give or take a few weeks) in pregnancy. I think I would probably feel the same in your position. Not having been there myself, I am afraid that I cannot offer much in the way of support but I do hope that your scan will have a positive outcome...

Hi Rene thanks for replying I know I think once I get to about 5 months I would probably relax a little but the closer and closer I'm getting to those stages where I lost the others I'm getting worse with worry which can't be good for the baby in itself x

I also lost my first LO at about 6 weeks, found out at a scan about 7 and a half weeks, I know it's not quite the same thing as you but just wanted to offer my empathy and support as I know how terrified I was at my scan when I got my BFP with my second pregnancy. Try to stay strong and I really hope all turns out well for you.
