I am completely overwhelmed by everyone's messages on here. I have managed to check in a couple of times over the past couple of days and your words of support have helped me so much.

Thank you Becky for keeping everyone up to date yesterday. DH and I hare home now and I'm under strict instructions not to do anything. I'm going to contact my GP and get signed off from work next week as the threat of miscarriage is still with us for a while yet plus my wound from the incision is hurting a bit. I've had a few twinges down below and a bit of tightening of my tummy but I'm hoping that with rest this will pass and we can make it to our follow-up scan on Friday. However, I've been feeling both babies loads which is so reassuring.

I'm off to update my diary now with the details of the past couple of days.

Thanks you so much again for all your kind words, you are all absolutely wonderful xxxxx

DH and i went for our scan this mornung and I'm so very pleased totell you all that boh babies are well and the twin who hd almost no fluid is almost back to normal. The consultant was very pleased with how well the laser treatment has worked and now we just hope it stays thst way. There is a risk tat the TTTS could return but we're almost past the stage of pregnancy where this is likely to happen. Back for another scan in 2 weeks time to make sure all is still ok.

The MW said i should carry on as normal now. The risk of preterm labour will be there for the rest of the pregnancy now that I've had something put into my uterus but we're staying positive that they're going to stay there for a while yet

Thank you so much again everyone for your wonderful support. You've all been amazing and helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. I cant stop smiling I'm so happy!

Hey there,

I know a few couples who have had to go through similar things to yourselves - actually speaking to two new couples on Monday night at the Addenbrookes Twin Night who were pregnant with TTTS. It must be terrifying but you and the boys are doing so well. Long may it last x

Hi everyone. I had another scan yesterday and just wanted to let you all know that both babies are still doing really well and their approx weight is now 2lbs each (I was going to update my diary but have noticed that my membership has expired). I'm so relieved that the surgery worked....it's absolutely amazing what they can do and I'm so, so grateful to the doctors and nurses who looked after us just 3 weeks ago.
