UTI - GP said I do not need medication

I am 7 weeks and 1 day pregnant (my first pregnancy) and my GP diagnosed a UTI. He said there are two types of UTI and my type of UTI doesn't need medication. He advised me to drink plenty of water and didn't seem concerned about it. Obviously, I am concerned and I would appreciate some advice please.

Thank you :-)

I think what he means is that sometimes you have the symptoms of a UTI but really you are just inflamed. Drink lots of cranberry juice as well as water and if in a couple of days you're not well go back and see a different GP. There are some medications they could give you. xfingers it will pass

I got a few during my last pg and I couldn't stomach cranberry jiuce so took cranberry suppliments and loads of water - did the trick.

Hope you are feeling better soon
