Congrats Saffy92

Great news. My baby was also 7.13lb and spitting image of daddy :-)
Induction is awful and best option at that time is epidural, which I also opted for and I'm so glad I did. Your lucky tho it was natural birth and not c section.
Welcome to motherhood. Hope and pray u enjoy every day of it.

My son is 5weeks today. Time is flying now but when I was pregnant it felt like the slowest days of my life!!

How have you been keeping? You been getting everything ready? We are trying nursery painted and furniture all in place! :) xxx

They told me baby is lying across, which is still ok at this stage! I had a emcs with my LB so am currently trying to decide what to do weather to have another section or have a normal delivery! Is a bit daunting to be honest and made a little harder with the fact I'm completely indecisive at the best of time haha! We aren't doing a nursery this time as just keeping baby with us and then hoping to get an extension done soon after its born, but I remember doing all that last time is so exciting sitting in your wee nursery imagining your wee bundle x have nearly everything from last time just got a new pram this time and new bottles although going to try to breastfeed this time so might not even need them! Ru planning on bottle or breast?

I just went for a to and fro cosatto buggy it can be forward and rear facing and lays flat, so just decided on that this time. Previously had a silvercross which was fab but didn't get the use out of it! I'm planning on working right up so I can take longer after the baby but currently off on sick leave so don't know how that will pan out. I didn't consider breast feeding last time as my mum had a difficult time when she had tried! But it turned out I had a lot of milk, it took 6-8 weeks to dry out. So I think i will try this time and if it work it works if not I'm not going to beat myself up about it! Do you know what you are having? We are waiting til birth! We are also having a hard time deciding on a ne this time! My LB is called after my maiden name so we had that picks quote early on and the girls name I liked with him I'm not as fussed on now! It's so difficult lol

Hi everyone,

I am 36 weeks plus 2 days and been to see consultant today. They are happy with baby growth etc but I have been given a date to be induced at 39+4 as they have decided that IVF births should be more controlled rather than leaving to nature. Has anyone else been told this? My Dh and are happy with the consultants decision rather be safe. Better get my bag packed.

Hope all is well :)

Hi hello

I was induced at 39 plus 3 as the consultant thought the baby was going to be big (she was 9lbs 4oz!) as well as the fact that we had ivf. My daughter was born healthy and well although I ended up needing a section in the end!

Hope everything goes well for you, I'm sure you can't wait to meet your baby-not long to go xx

Hi hello, it's strange what different hospitals say! I had some brown staining over wkend. I rang hospital as I had read somewhere there is a slight increase in early labour for IVF, I told them that I was IVF and did this make a difference! She told me that at this later stage 34 almost 35 wks there is no difference and they just treat all the same at this point!

Great you have a date hello, I had a section with my LB so have been offered that or VbAc and if I take Section il prob deliver at 39wks to. It's so exciting I'm glad I'm not the only lazy bones I haven't done my bag either

Hi Everyone,

How are you all? I am 39+1 today and getting induced Thursday or Friday! Had midwife yesterday and she done a Sweap and I am roughly 2cms and cervix soft so says induction should be easier and quicker if needed! She did say she could feel my waters too! I have developed a horrible rash on lower legs and getting no relief or sleep at the moment can't stop scratching xxx

Wow Thursday/Friday happy days! Great that you are 2cms already! With my first little boy I went for sweep on due date the doctor couldn't even reach my cervix but Must have done something as I went on my own 6 days later. I'm 38 wks today, but booked for a csection 2 wks tomorrow so il be 40+1, they could have done planned section earlier but I thought I'd at least give it until 40 wks to see of baby wanted to move on its own.

Hi Ladies,

So lovely to hear from you both. . . . . . . . a massive congratulations on your wonderful journey also.
i didn't know a gp referal was needed for the Royal. I am breatfeeding, my cycle hasn't shown up which is great, but obviously i'll have to wait until it returns.
Newbie go for it asap is my goal. Do you mind me asking how my frosties you have? Also do you know if the FET is covered by NHS? I'm pretty sure it is.

I stopped feeding my little one at 7 months she was becoming so fussy over feeding and I needed to decide to carry on expressing to give her or start weaning she was down to 3/4 feeds a day at that point. I felt so uncomfortable at times and decided to stop. How long you hoping to feed for? I don't know about you guys but our FET is covered.

We have 8 froasties what about you 2?

Initially 6months was my plan for b.feeding, but as this is near I'm not comfortable with just stopping i'll see how i go. We are going on holiday in 2 weeks & want to feed for that as it will be so handy…… after that im not sure, im hoping he will lead the way for me………..
We have ONE frosty from memory possibly grade A. From reading up FET doesn't require injections, the treatment length seems to be less which is promising.
That is fantastic having 8 frosties, have you made the 1st step towards treatment?

Great grade of Frosties! I will be able to contact end of April since that will be three months after finishing feeding. For me feeding was so much easier after the first 6 weeks then I didn't want to give up at 6months but daughter decided at 7 months. My little one is 8 months today xxx

Just realising your last post was a few weeks ago, so you may have already started. If so i hope all is going really well for you. I've got referral for FET & just received letter to book appointment yesterday. I'm now thinking is it too soon…….. Suppose its just nerves. . . . . . . We cycled together in Nov/Dec 15
