Hi all how is everyone!

This waiting for scans business is like torture isn't it! I have my 12 week scan on Wednesday and I AM SCARED!

I keep thinking negative things despite seeing a heart beat at 6 and 8 weeks! I think coz one didn't start beating perhaps something happened to the other one is that common?

I don't have many symptoms at all no nausea or cravings, occassional twinges in my nipples, i am sleepy all the time and so bloated by end of day I just roll on and off sofa lmao. I was weeing like 5 times a night but in the last few days that's got better.

I hope the baby is ok would a feral monitor work at 11 weeks 5 days?

Fingers crossed excited to tell everyone xxx

Phoebe - oh I see! I ad two put back in and one stopped growing after 7 weeks! bigcloud It is still lying next to the other one that is OK. Got to see a specialist twin person to make sure it isn't going to compromise the healthy one! I just don't get it one week there's a heartbeat and the week after there's nothing??? Sad really! :sniff:

Keeping fingers crossed for the one!!

I'm getting waves of nausea, I then normally have one thing to eat and then I'm fine - sore boobies though and feeling bloated and full up quick after a meal!!

Hoping everything turns out OK on your 12 week scan! How exciting! Xx

Mrs G - sorry to hear about the LO not growing :sniff: fair enough, the other is ok. Hope you see the specialist sooner.

Phoebe - Try to stay positive and hope for the best dear...we never stop worrying about the scans, keep us posted.

AFM - Still nauseous but taking things easy as advised by the doctor. Next scan is friday at 8 weeks.

Hope everyone else is good... blowkiss

Hello Ladies

Phoebe good luck with your 12 week scan - your lucky i got my last one at 9 weeks and am not getting another one until 16 weeks which is freaking me out i wanted the 12 week one as its the milestone one.

Mrs G- i hope you are getting on ok i was thinking about you alot you must be a mixed bag of emotion my love

Jumsy- good to hear your taking things easy the nausea is hard going but it will be all good

AFM- Well nothing to report have a midwife appointment tomorrow and im gonna speak to my GP to see if he can get me a 12 week scan i think it would settle me a bit. It feels a very long way away to a 16 week one from 9 weeks and like everyone with such a crap history you need the reassurance ...well i know i do. My sickness has come with a vengance most days it so hard trying to go to work when you wanna stop every 5 mins to be sick TMI sorry!!!

Also looked at my sis in law scan picture and my baby looked like a blob at 9 weeks hers looked like a baby.....another thing i have stressed myself out over. God i am a wreck and you all probably think i am crazy

Thanks Hun. Life is hectic lol. Yes can't believe he is nearly five months.

I am doing a complete donor cycle at the moment. There's so many women waiting for donors and this is my chance to help and give back.

I couldn't even say I was pg even when I went into labour. I still look at them and think its all a dream. It's so hard after a loss to believe that this is you time. But no amount of worry will change the outcome so i think you have to take it day at a time and try and believe all is ok- because it is!!!!

:clap Phoebe im sure your mind is so much more at ease now you seen your LO [zx126] . Believe me every website i have read says that the placenta takes over at 12 weeks so no more need for suppositories or prognova. Babe i cant wait til that day only a week and a half to go . Its perfectly ok cuz the placenta produces everything your baby needs now. :xxx3:

Gemma - your a true inspiration helping others who wish to be mummies and daddies just like us just amazing your a starsmile

Mrs A- Hope all is going well did you get your private scan booked?

AFM- well i have to be honest this trimester feels like forever, we have held out telling anyone but our immediate family and decided we wouldnt tell grannies uncles aunts friends etc until i am 12 weeks just a wee while to go. I cant wait til the 11th Sept to get a 16 week scan feels again like forever but i have a community midwife appointment on the 21/08/2012 and she has a doppler machine so by then she says she hopes to be able to hear the heartbeat  with this machine even though i wont see it if i hear it i will be all good til my scan. Apart from that the sick has now decided to be nice and quiet until about 3pm and then its all evening my mum said i look terrible LOL

Awh Kittenlove [zx189] :goodluck: tomorrow , itll be fantastic i know it. i know its daunting going off the medication but really really the placenta is doing all the work now. My consultant wanted me to go off them at 7 weeks and i said no until 12 weeks lol because thats when all say the placenta takes over and produces enough progesterone and all itself i know its hard but we have to bite the bullet sometime and wean ourselves off we sound like druggies lol!!!

Mrs A- :goodluck: tomorrow too it'll be great there is always something comforting about the scans for us XXXXXX

Hi Ladies,
Hope you're all fine...i have had a little problem connecting to this site yesterday.

Phoebe - many congratulations to you, guess you feel so relieved, relax and put your feet up darling. I like your spirit of positiveness, works for me :weehee:

Mrs A - Hope you feel better :hugs: Good luck with scan next week.

Kittenlove - Good luck for today, got a scan mid day as well.

AFM - I also came off bum bullets shortly after OTD as i had a lond protocal IVF, i was told i didnt need them afterwards and everything is been fine apart from the nausea in the last 10 days, which is easing off gradually. I am 8 weeks today and booked for a scan. Seriously thinking of lingerie shopping as boobs grow bigger and nipples sore. smile2

Have a good day girls :bye:

I know what you are all saying but they don't do blood tests and boy had lots of them just felt they should have checked that, on the other hand I guess they know what they are talking about! My DH said to me Dr G has worked miracles so far don't question it just because one lady eased off over 2 weeks, another a week and some just stop for me to ween off over 3 days guess I just need to trust :))

Still can't help state at pic seems surreal doesn't it :)

OMG needs bras urgently but can't be arsed to travel and get measured might try do it myself and online!
My little B cups are expanding :) Katie price me!!!!

DH still no job stressing me a bit but two interviews next week keep it all crossed I am feeling little panicked he is not working and he will be such an asset to a company he's a great guy :)

A family member went to touch my bump the other day and I pretty much karate chopped them....hmmm not sure I want just anyone incl in law family thinking they have a right to touch the bump anytime any place lmao I have been warned by friends so practicing deflection tactics lmao

Perhaps I will get used to it lol

week long bleed at 5 - 6 weeks pg

Hi folks
This is my first time on this page. I'm usually on the fertility part, but finally got BFP 2 weeks ago. So I'm here for a bit of advice, information and support. I've had 3 early miscarriages so this is my 4th pregnancy and at 5 weeks 4 days I started to spot light pink, we went to EPU had a scan which showed heart beat, but I've continued to spot with varying degrees of heaviness and colouring for a week now. Although I've had no pain as such I have had pulling sensations and quick sharp sensations in my groin (not abdomen). I am very very nervous and very very scared as I can't find any information EPU have been great but they wont do another scan until I'm 8 weeks. (I'm now 6 weeks 4 days)
Has anybody out there had similar things. Should I be worried and should I phone EPU again tomorrow? I don't need panty liners as I only see blood when I wipe but this is driving me mad. I've still got some pg symptoms, but not nausea.

Hi ladies

Well I am back from France. We went with friends and their 2 kids and bless them I wasn't allowed to do a thing all week - was thoroughly spoiled. The bleeding stopped about 3 days after I went and nothing since, got booking in appt on wednesday and scan appt thurs but have olympics tickets so need to rearrange it - very frustrating! Sickness has almost gone but boy do I have a belly now - unsure if it's french bread or baby related.

So much has gone on sorry no detailed personals but Mrs G sorry to hear about twin 2, hope the specialist appt goes well.
Glad to hear everyone else's scans etc have gone well.

Jade - welcome. I had a bleed at 5+3 and was told the same - mine stopped after 3 days but it might be worth trying the EPU again if the bleeding goesn't stop. Having - had 2 bleeds now I know how scary they are so big hugs.

Take care all - am 12 w today and meds finish - also scared of stopping but pleased as well.

Xx

Hi Everyone,

Wonder if I can join you guy's.

I was with the Jolly July's which helped me a great deal through my treatment. I got my BFP and we are stil shocked and very cautious :faint: We haven't told anyone one abou treatment and our BFP. So my DH thought it would be good to be able talk to other ladies and get advice. I haven;t had many pg symptoms only saw boobs and triedness so I still don't think I can let myself believe iam pg until iam 12weeks.

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend

Hi all

Phoebe - I think you may have gone to the 2nd TRI but good luck with everything =- see you over there soon I hope!

Jade - good luck, hope you can get in for a scan to put your mind at ease

Lucyloo - hello and welcome and congratulations!

Jumsy - glad the sickness is getting better. Mine really improved from 10 and a half weeks and now it's almost gone.

AFM, just got my 12 week scan appointment rearranged for this wednesday - booking in at 8.30 am and scan at 3.20pm! I have totally lost my voice as picked up a cold and cough on holiday, poor receptionist could hardly understand me! Getting slightly concerned my coughing is gonna hurt the baby - am coughing really violently all the time - anyone know anything about this?

Have a good day everyone

Hey ladies- sorry for lack of personals but welcome to all the new jolly julys you are very welcome here

Net - dont worry about all the coughing your wee bubba is well protected with all the amniotic fluid.....probably swimming round in there thinking your sending it wee waves through your coughing so probably loving the fun lmao

Landroverjade- You ring and go to EPU as many times as you need babes i would if it was me to put your mind at rest thats why we pay national insurance

Jumsy- good to hear the sickness is easing off mine is a bit too but did have a horrendous saturday/sunday cudnt keep anything down at all.

AFM- wish it was the 11th Sept already as thats when my next scan is god it feels like forever since my 9 week one which was only 2 weeks ago!!!! Im giving myself mini heart attacks now thinking i am not as big as i was boobs not as sore bla bla why is it i just want a scan to see again that everything is ok!!! i still think from 9 weeks to 16 weeks is a big gap between scans. Have a wee niggling pain in my left side of late i hope i dont have an infection :hairout

Thank you so much ladies.

The I haven't had any bleeding at all today so going fingers crossed. Got a doc appointment tomorrow to see if I should continue the aspirin. Will keep an eye on it all and go back if it starts again. Still got symptoms and had nausea this afternoon....didn't think I'd ever be so glad to feel sick!!!

Here's good luck to us all

:hi:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone starsmile .

Hope everyone is doing well xx

AFM- Waiting till the 15th for my next scan. Haven't had much nausea except maybe on an evening but no actuall being sick. The only symptoms are sore boobs and tierdness supose i should be greatful as some of you seem to be having a really hard time with sickness but I can't help but worry. I am off for a week so at least i get time to relax with DH and my 2 nieces who have landed today and we are going to make ginger bread men biggrin2 . Does anyone else seem to have a hard time with cramps sometimes it wakes me up on an evening. I have had a lot of surgery around my abdomen so could it be that ?
