Caraz, glad you got the scan as well!

Well, we had our scan this morning and I was put as 13w+2, so I am ahead as well. The babies measured CTR as 70.9 and 71.2mm, so very much the same. Nuchal thickness came up as 2.0 and 1.7mm, which we were told is fine. They took the bloods, and we should get the results in 10 days.

Was told my next appointment will be January 5th at the local hospital when I am 17w+3. It was supposed to be at 16 weeks, but as w are away, she put it a week later. We tried asking for it to be a week earlier, but no. Tried asking to have the appointments at the hospital we will be giving birth (consultant led, local us midwife only), and were told it doesn't matter, so we can go to the other one. Feels like we were just brushed off. Asked about tiredness, but there is nothing I can do. I might be given some iron at next appointment, if the octr feels like it. My bloods were fine, I am not anaemic.

Anyway, I think it is time for me to 'move on' to the next thread....

Thank you all for support and help along these weeks and good luck to you all! I hope you will all join me soon!

Hi Ladies

I had my first scan yesterday and it all went well. I saw our little peanut and it's heartbeat! It was really clear. The con measured 0.82 (6w5d) and 0.85 (6w6d), which is spot on as I was 6w5d yesterday. The con checked everything and said everything was good.

It all was really bizare, I think we were both shocked but I am so pleased that I have now seen that I am pregnant!

Amber - good luck in the second trimester. Great to hear that your scan went okay.

Caraz - good to hear that your scan went well as well. Good luck with your scan on Monday

Kat13 - sorry to hear that you had a scare but good to hear that all was okay. Goodluck in the second trimester.

PLH - congratulations on being in your 13th week!

Nikki - hope you enjoy centre parks!

Sasha and Jen - I think we all want to have the symptoms for the reassurance but I guess we are lucky if they are minimal. I am trying not to worry about it so much now - we'll see how long that lasts!

I am booked to go back on 20th December for another scan and some more immune blood tests. I may have to have some immune drugs depending on the results of the tests I had yesterday.

Hi ladies,
Rang my GP today to find out what I need to do about seeing a midwife. I had to go in, fill in a form and pick up some leaflets. I have to go to a pre-appointment session either at the hospital or children's centre where we have some sort of presentation before we make our first appointment. Has anyone else had to go for one of these? They are on Sunday's and Monday's but busy this weekend so will have to go on 18th (day before my 7 week scan). Hope I can get an appointment before Christmas as everywhere will probably be closed between Christmas and New Year.
Started to feel a bit queasy last night but not too bad. Really tired this evening after a busy day at work. Think I'm going to watch Master Chef in bed! Hope you're all well xx

Hi Girls

Can I join you please? I feel a little nervous joining the 1st trimester thread, I’m scared of jinxing my BFP , but I lost the thread I posted on previously, and I guess technically I am in the first trimester so maybe I should get over myself! I see some of the Niftys are on here so was wondering where you guys were going, so am hoping to join you now.

We got our 1st BFP on Sunday after our 4th round of IVF, so I am only 4wks 4 days today. So I am very very nervous still. I am going in every 48 hrs for HCG tests which is reassuring, although it does mean I’m on tenterhooks every time I’m waiting to hear if my levels have doubled. I knew IVF pregnancies were stressful but I didn’t realise it would be this stressful. So I’m hoping joining this thread will make me feel pregnant and a bit more positive.

At the moment I have no symptoms (other than sore (.)(.) sometimes) and can’t even think ahead to my 6wk scan, I’m just taking it day by day. Is that normal? One of the other girls I spoke to at the clinic said she felt the same, so I don’t feel too stupid, but has anyone else felt like that? I don’t think until I’m past 25/26 weeks and it’s viable that I will relax! But I would like to start enjoying it sometime ;)

Had an IVIG infusion yesterday so that took the whole day, and had to go in this morning to London for an immune blood test, and then again tomorrow for HCG levels. So it’s non-stop 5:30am mornings for me at the moment! I am sooo tired…

I’m so glad to hear everyone’s scans are going well, and hope you’re all enjoying this special time.

Silly question, but how do you get to this thread? Does it come up when you click on ‘unread posts’?

J (and speckle) x

welcome Jewels and congratulations :) You can find this thread in the PregnancyZone area (go to the front page of fertilityzone and scroll right down to find the Pregnancyzone links). It is totally normal to be so nervous at this stage - for me, the wait from BFP to the first scan was far worse than the 2WW! Worth it when you see your little one on the screen though :)

Beanie congrats on the scan :)

whiteangel - I've not heard of those sessions before, I just saw the GP and then made an appointment with the mw. Have they told you what the presentation is about? It just made me think of the presentation I had to go to before the rescue centre would let me adopt my dog!!! I hope your queasiness passes soon.

Amber enjoy the second tri - I'll see you over there in a week or so. Its good that your not anaemic - hopefully the tiredness will ease off soon - mine has definitely improved a lot the past couple of days.

AFM, 12 weeks today and feeling soooo much better now - my cold has almost gone (after 3 weeks its about time!!), I am not feeling anywhere near as tired as I was (although natural laziness is keeping me on the sofa more than is strictly necessary), and the queasiness and manic hunger is also fading away. I even managed to do some gardening yesterday and cleared the shed out. I've had some spring bulbs sitting out there since October waiting to be planted - no idea if they will come up or not being planted this late. I also baked some dried fruit flapjacks, so I have something vaguely healthy to snack on. It is nice to be feeling almost human again.

Only problem, and it is getting to be a big problem, is the PGP. After doing my usual one hour walk with dogs yesterday morning, I could barely walk in the afternoon, really painful and stiff when I stood up. It eases up as I move around, but is really starting to worry me - I can't not walk the dogs for six months!! I'm waiting for a physio appointment, hope it comes soon. I think the muddier ground doesn't help, as it puts more strain on the pelvis, it has been noticeably worse since we had some rain a few days ago.

Hope everyone else is doing well :)

Hi girls, hope it's okay to join. I had a fet 2 day transfer on 17 November (3 embryos) as I am over 40. I got my bfp on 5 dec, hcg was over 2000. I have my first scan 29 dec. Can anyone tell me how pregnant I am as I am getting different dates from different sites on the net. This is my first pregnancy after several failed iui's and trying to conceive for 6 years, so as you will all know I am terrified.

Hi Morgan

Congratulations! It's so scary isn't it? I am also terrified!

I think you work it out from the day of fertilisation, ie. day 1 - which was the 16th. So on the 30th Nov you were 4 weeks (2 weeks after conception), which makes you 5 weeks and 2 days today. Please feel free to disagree with me anyone if I'm wrong.

For me EC was on 19th, so day 1 was on 20th Nov, and exactly 4 weeks on 4th Dec, so that's how I think it's worked out.

I couldn't use the normal dating as it uses your last menstrual period date, but my cycle was much longer than usual as I stimmed for much longer. But you always date a pregnancy from the date of conception, and add two weeks.

So by the 29th you should see something (or more than 1!) nice on the scan :)

Hi Morgan congratulations.

I'm in slightly different position in that i had ICSI.

I worked my dates from first day of last period, i had an early scan at 6+6 based on cycle and they put me at 6+4 due to the size of the baby so at your early scan they should be able to give you beter dates, i was also told it could change again at 12 weeks but i no a few girls on here have said there dates stayed the same.

Like jewels i could be wrong but that's the information i have been given.

Hi sasha
Thanks for response. I am just confused as that would mean I am getting first scan at 8 weeks. I guess i am just paranoid and worrying about everthing. I was so niave and thought all that would stop after the 2ww, but this is worse. Hope you are well

Hi Sasha, im 6 weeks tomorrow....the lack of symptoms really bothered me with DD but she was healthy and measuring bigger than i thought at my 12 week scan so I just keep thinking back to then. I seem to be more tired this time round and have felt a bit queasy in the last day or two but its the coming and going of symptoms that bothers me but i suppose it would be unreasonable to expect all of my symptoms all day long (and i guess i should be thankful more than anything!) If it helps you i didnt get any symptoms with DD (except for a bit of tiredness) until 12 weeks.

thanks beanie for the reassurence

Hi Girls

Had a real panic yesterday as I was convinced my pregnancy was ectopic as I have really bad pains at night on my one side when I turn over or stretch, or laugh suddenly. Was in a state and got my DH all worried too. Just couldn't face the thought we might've gotten this far for it to all fall apart now. So I went to the clinic (I'm going in for bloods every 48hrs anyway) and told them. And they said it's way too early for ectopic symptoms, and it's more likely my ovaries that are sore because I had 18 eggs collected. And my HCG levels don't indicate an ectopic.

I did feel reassured, but I'm still getting these sharp pains in my abdomen now and again throughout the day, does anyone else get them? I'm finding this so so worrying. I really thought (naively) that once we got our positive it would be all happy happy. But in fact I'm finding that I'm more stressed than ever before. And I can't enjoy it yet. I hope one day soon I will. Maybe after the 6 week scan if everything's alright.

In some way the 48hr blood tests help reassure that at least my HCG is rising, but then it's always worrying waiting to hear the results and trying to work out if my levels are OK or not! Maybe the worry never ends :)

I would so love to just be happy and believe that I'm pregnant but am finding it hard. Also don't have any symptoms other than slightly sore boobs, but that could be the progesterone too. I actually did a pregnancy test on Wed as I needed to see for myself rather than just hearing someone on the phone telling me I'm pregnant. Me and my DH were both really nervous waiting for the result! Silly eh?

Anyway please tell me you stop worrying quite as much soon???

Morgan, I think some clinics do a scan at 6 wks and some at 8 wks. At least if everything is good at 8 wks your chances of anything happening fall dramatically.

Hope I'm not the only one who's so neurotic at this stage, I was doing so well during treatment, was really chilled out most of the time believe it or not! Just too scared to look too far ahead...

Hi girl
Mim thanks for response.

Jewels I have also been getting strong pains in both sides but especially my right side. They only last seconds and go away but they are scary!! I also get pain in the middle of my tummy.
I guess if we never had the pains we would be stressing about no symptoms other than sore boobies and feeling sick.

Hi Jewels please don't worry, easier said than done i no

I only had sore boobs and indegestion and felt quite sick which suddenly all went away, i had been sick 3 times but i think this was more due to indegestion then i had nothing.

So i moaned about all of the above then when i had nothing i stressed out, i can't win.

Anyway was sick this morning so back to moaning about being sick, feel so silly.

I get pains at night to, i had read that pains on the right side are very common, app most females pelvis tilts and goes to the right and that's the pain you feel, also remember your body is making space to hold a baby so i think it's very normal to have some pains, i think unless your doubled over in pain everything is fine (i'm no expert so if this isn't correct please feel free to say otherwise)

I'm not sure the worry goes away until your holding your baby then a whole new lot of worry starts, but i do think as each week passes you relax slightly.

Take care x

Hi guys. Did my third, weekly pregnancy test yesterday, still positive! DH has told me I can't do any more as they are too expensive! Going for my scan a week tomorrow so will hopefully relax a bit more when I've seen that there is definitely something there! Jewels I've had various little aches and pains, especially at night. The pessaries seem to cause trapped wind and constipation (sorry tmi) which is really painful as well as other growing pains. Felling a bit light headed and nauseous whenever I stop eating last night and today but don't feel like I'm actually going to be sick. Going to be the size of a whale by new year! My parents came up this weekend to have a look at the house we are planning on buying and we had a second viewing on our house which was very positive. Will be a miracle if we sell to the first people to look round! 2012 is going to be a busy but fab year for all of us! xxx

ughh the ms has hit :( cant seem to eat anything other than cereal or toast as the thought of anything else is making me feel really queasy :(

Try not to worry ladies...i think when its been a journey to get pregnant it is sooo difficult not to worry. I felt exactly the same with DD. This is now my second and i can honestly say i feel sooo much better about this LO. I think I am putting things into perspective a little more...I think the thing to remember is that the odds of a healthy pregnancy are definately in our favour and as time goes on the odds are getting better and better. I think around the 6 week mark the chance of the pregnancy not progressing is about 5% ...thats a 95% chance of everything going well. I think if someone gave me those odds on winning the lottery i'd feel confident i'd win. I know it's hard to relax but the time will soon pass and before we know it our babies will be here! xx

Hi girls, sorry I've been AWOL!

Jewels, I too get pains and cramps, often at night, like everyone said, lots is going on in there that you can't see, so it's probably all normal, it's funny isn't it, we'd be so worried if we had no twinges too :)
I have started doing a prenatal Pilates DVD called 10 minute solution, it is 5x 10 min segments, so depending n what you feel like and have time for you can mix it up. It is helping my back loads as I've started to gt a sciatica like pain down my left bum cheek I guess things are moving and sitting on a nerve in there! I wish my pelvis would let me have the nerve back as it's a killer!

Whiteangel, my dh said the same thing, I haven't done me for over a week now. Ha!

Jen, sorry you're suffering it's sickness, and thanks for the reassuring words re:worrying.

Hi to all the other ladies I have missed, I will catch up properly and do personals this week.

Afm, 7 weeks and 2 days and my early scan to look forward to this week on Wednesday, then just one more working week and IT'S CHRISTMAS whooooooo!

Back from Center Parcs and getting ready for my 12 week nuchal scan this afternoon. I'm so excited to see baby (but a little part of me is worried whether everything is OK).

Jen - sorry the MS has kicked in. I agree with you re second pregnancy - I am much more relaxed this time around, perhaps as I don't have the time to focus on it 100% like last time.

Whiteangel - I did 6 tests at the start of this pregnancy (lost track last time :snigger: ), but this time I kept telling myself the tests only detect hormone and the scan is what is important. Save the money on tests and treat yourself once you get past the scan. Not sure about your pre-appointment session, not heard about those?

Jewels and Morgan - welcome and congrats on your BFP's!

Caraz - wow you have been industrious. I've just got a cold so just want to be in bed. DH is back at work tomorrow so not looking forward to that.

Hi to everyone else I've not mentioned

In terms of dates - I found last time that the NHS ignore the fertility dates and calculate your due date at the 12 week scan, all paperwork from that point reflects that! They dated me a week earlier (so I just kept in the back of my mind the actual dates). As it happened DS came 1 day before their due date ...

There is such a mix of symptoms and lack of symptoms - who knows how we should be feeling?? I'm hoping that the tiredness gets easier once I'm in the second trimester.

Well have a nice day everyone and I'll try and get on here later to update you after my scan.

Nikki x

Hi Girls

Thanks Sasha, and everyone else for the reassurance, I feel so much better knowing that I’m not the only one getting pains or worrying so much. Maybe I’ll start to believe soon…

I have such bad bruising on my stomach from the clexane, I think I hit a blood vessel the other day. I’m going to take a photo of my stomach (and the bruises on my arse from the progesterone injections) and keep them for one day when our LO is a teenager and giving me a hard time. Then I will show them what I had to go through to have them, and that should shut them up! ;)

Jen, sorry you’re feeling sick, I hope it passes soon, and you find a way to control it. I’m so glad to hear it’s normal to worry!

Nikki best of luck for your scan today, I hope it’s brilliant, and your little baby is awake and kicking! Show us pics when you get them!

I have a prenatal yoga DVD too Stace, might start looking at it now…

My HCG is still rising which is good, it’s not as high as my internet printout says it should be, but I’m trying to ignore the internet as I figure if there was a problem the clinic would tell me. They upped my progesterone when it dropped a little, so they seem to be on the ball. The internet can be great and also terrible!!

Thanks Nikki, I wondered how the NHS would date the pregnancy, isn’t it funny that they ignore the fertility dates, when we know EXACTLY what date conception was! I can’t wait to get to the 12 week dating scan!! I am praying so hard we get there…

Has anyone got twins on here? Just wondering whether anyone got that particular surprise at their scans? We had 2 put back, but I don’t think we’re having twins as my HCG isn’t that high, and I believe that’s a good indication of multiples. But I guess there’s always the exception!

Have a good day everyone, and thanks for the reassurance [zx127]

hi ladies

jewels - sorry to hear about your bruising - I feel really lucky that I could stop all medication once we got the BFP!

nikki - hope you had a good holiday :) good luck for the nuchal scan, we're just back from ours, it was fantastic :)

whiteangel - I did 4 tests in total, including 2 of the Clearblue conception indicator ones, spaced a couple of weeks apart. I know they are not to be relied on, but mine came up with the exact numbers I wanted, so were quite reassuring for me :) Good luck with the house selling/buying - it looks like we might be moving with DHs job in 12-18 months, but at least I don't have to worry about it while I'm pregnant! Although that might actually be easier than managing it all with a baby in tow :)

sasha and jen - sorry to hear about the ms, can't really suggest anything other than small amounts of food fairly regularly, which helped me (but then I had no actual throwing up, just permanent queasiness).

morgan - welcome and congratulations :)

AFM, just back from the nuchal scan, and despite my age and history the doctor told me I have the same risk for Downs as a 15 year old :D how great is that :D She spent about 40 minutes looking at everything in great detail, blood flow through the heart in various spots, the nuchal fold itself, nasal bone, and loads of other things - she pointed out the bladder filling up, which means the kidneys are functioning, and a spot on the stomach that indicates that the intestines are passing things through them already, and loads of other things. Everything absolutely perfect. This is why we decided to splash out on the private scan, it is just so much more detailed than the NHS ones, and she went through our full results there and then (I had blood taken last week, so the results were already there). We got the best possible scores allowed by the software. We are so relieved, it is amazing - we had thought with my age and history that maybe a 1:200 - 1:300 might be the best we could hope for, we got a 1:1223, which was the highest possible :) Baby measuring 12+6, so 2 days ahead.

Also, the doctor has a fairly good track record for predicting the sex - and she reckons this one is a little girl :) She can't be 100% sure at this stage, but she did say she wouldn't even give an opinion on it unless she was fairly sure :)

Really looking forward to telling the families next week now - we are going to put scan photos in Christmas cards for when we see them :)

Hi Girls,

Sorry I did not get a chance to post last night. All went well with scan - seems more real now and baby was looking so cute. Have to wait another 5 days for results of blood tests and risks to be calculated but nuchal fold was 2mm which she said was good. I was dated ahead (again) so have updated my ticker.

Will move across to the second trimester soon - good luck everyone and chat soon.

Thought it was about time i came over to the pink side!!!!

Bit about me, been trying for two years was told are only hope was ICSI, I have PCOS and husband has antibodies. Had our first cycle at Darlington Londons Women clinic in November, had two embies trnasfered and we got our BFP on the 30th Nov......we are so lucky!!!!

I am now 6 wks pregnant and got my scan on the 20th Dec so I am looking forward to this, I am feeling really tired at the moment and my stomach is also bloated (could be me putting on weight with increased appatite) but other than that feel great.

Looking forward to going through my lfirst trimester with you all and my fellow Nifty's!!!

Bought a great book the other day "The day-by-day pregnancy book, it shows you whats your baby looks like each day and how it is growing.....its facinating to see how much it changes in a day.

YAY welcome to the pink pages Taffycaz! It's quite a mental jump isn't it? 6 weeks, wow, it's moving along nicely eh? I'll bet you're counting down til your scan? I wish time would go faster, it seems to be crawling even more than the 2ww at the moment!

jewels I am looking forward to scan to see if both embies took or one, or how many we are having!!!

I got offered a secondment at work yesterday , this really surprised me as I have told them that I am pregnant , this would take me up until i was nearly due, it would mean being my own boss and working monday to Friday 9-5 instead of shifts so if it comes off it will fit in nicely with maternity leave.

I think the time is going fast i cant believe it is 6 weeks already......its shooting by and i am loving it : D

Oh wow that sounds great! I'm crossing fingers you get it, that will be fab! Will you still get maternity leave though if it ends just before?

I'm glad the time is flying for you, for me it's CRAWLING!!

Gosh I am totally not thinking about having more than 1, I guess because my HCG levels aren't that high so I figure it can't be two. But I know that HCG isn't the only determinant of multiples, but I figure if there were 2 little embryos in there surely they'd be pumping out more hormone. So I don't think we'll be looking for more than 1. I would just be so grateful for 1 healthy little baby, that's all I'm holding out for.

I love that you're so positive, that's so great to hear!

Yeah i will still get maternity leave as my job will be covered by new staff while i am on a secondment and they will also cover my maternity leave, i will just go back to my old job after maternity leave.

I havent got a clue what my HSG levels are as I am not haveing bloods done so will have to wait for the scan, i will be happy with whatever the result. at least you know everthing is going along well.

I have always been quite laid back and take evything in my stride, mind saying that this is all new to me lol!!!!

Hi girls hope everyone is well.

Well i'm going to have my first rant on here but before i forget again for those ladies with morning sickness a nurse my dad knows said ginger snap biscuits work wonders if eaten as soon as you get up, well i tired it for a few days and believe it or not they work well for me anyway, i thought it was all in my mind so on sun i had some toast and not the biscuits and before long it was back up (sorry tmi) so back to the biscuits.

So onto my rant, here goes, i work for a massive company and can be placed anywhere in the Strathclyde area (quite a large area) anyway i do have a boss but i never have anything to do with him and we deal with line managers, so i had been off for a few weeks and while i was off i was moved dept to a job i had applied for over a year ago, it involves going out and about which isn't allowed when your preg, anyway my line manager new i was preg and has been fantastic.

So on Mon, a line manager who is higher than him sent to me the office nearer my home to work but was going to be doing a diff job again, so far this is all fine.

So of course moving to a new office to do office work usualy sets tounges wagging which is fine by me, folk can assume but dont actualy know.

So i'm sitting at my desk and a guy i know in the passing comes in and congratulates me on being preg, to say i nearly had a heart attack on the spot is an understatement.

I asked him how he knew and he said his line manager (who is an arse and hates females) had blabbed it like it was common knowledge.

By the time i got home i was in a total state, i couldnt believe somebody could/would be so thoughtless, now i no it's going to spread like wild fire and i'm so angry/upset that he had taken away from me the joy and excitment of going into work and announcing it myself. The majority of my family and friends have no idea i'm preg and i'm in a total pickle as to tell them now or not, i'm only 8+5 and realy not ready to broadcast it.

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

Sorry rant over

Oh Sasha, what an arse that man is, I'm surprised you didn't thump him!

I am so looking forward to telling everyone when the time comes and we feel confident and can't imagine someone I don't even know stealing that from me. Tosser!

Good to see you here taffy! My scan is tomorrow... Can't wait! But v nervous at the same time!

Jewels, it crawled for me too.. Sure this will be the longest, sleepless night of my life!

Good luck in 2nd tri Nikki!

Caraz, great news on the odds you were quoted, absolutely brilliant, so reassuring for you!

Hi to everyone else.

Afm, starting to feel queasy when I eat, I have a massive appetite before I eat and then I get full instantly and feel stuffed and so uncomfortable! Hopefully I'll get a clear view of the culprit tomorrow

Hi Everyone

Sorry I haven't been on for a while. Been quite busy trying to get ready for xmas, as the in laws arrive this Sunday already. Also been too tired to do anything, so appologise for no personals but it sounds like everyones scans and bloods are going well.

Welcome to those who have joined us recently.

Been feeling ok. Some days worry about lack of symptoms and other days feel fine. Looking forward to next scan which will be a week today.

OMG Sasha that's awful! Whichever line manager blabbed needs a real bollocking. I guess you can tell the people you're close to so that at least they don't find out the back way, but saying it's really early days etc. I would be mad as hell too!

Stace, really good luck for your scan, let us know how it goes.

Another blood test today, don't know why as I had one yesterday. Trying not to read too much into it. Have banned myself from Google after freaking msyelf out over HCG levels. I'm really hoping they'll give me a scan date so I can see if there's something there. Other than feeling tired I have no symptoms. And as I'm getting up at 5:30am to go to the clinic, it could very well be that rather than the pregnancy!

have a good day girls (and little speckles, peanuts and bumps)

It was just a fleeting visit for me in the pink pages I'm afraid girls.

No heartbeat to see today, and LO has started to detach from the yolk sac so pregnancy is not viable. They say it is about a week behind so must have stopped growing a about 6.5 weeks.

It wasn't my time. Hoping 2012 will bring us more luck

Good luck with all your pregnancies, wishing you healthy and happy months ahead xxx

Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and hope to see you in the 2nd Trimester chat one day.

Sorry taffycaz, I don't have that, besides can hardly see my stomach for clexane bruising anyway!! I do know that pregnant women can get chloasma (i think it's called), but I thought that was on the face not the stomach, and is linked to sun exposure. But not sure. So we had our first scan today 5wk+ 5 days. We saw one (phew) gestational sca, with a yolk sac, in the right place. Too early to see a heartbeat but hopefuly we'll see that next week. The doctor was happy, so I'm happy. Phew. Feels like lots of little hurdles, but at least this is another one passed. Feel like I can say I'm pregnant now that I've seen it :)

It's a good day!

Sickness is much better which is good but still getting it in the morning (i think mainly cos im so hungry) and peeing alot...the biggest problem i have at the moment is I have no idea what to eat :( There's not much that appeals at the moment and i just seem to have to decide on the day which is costing us a fortune in daily supermarket trips. I have a fridge/freezer full of food and it all looks yuk! xx

Taffy - We've just been for the talk and tour at the maternity unit and the mid-wife said to always keep something in your tummy to ward of the sicky feeling. Hope that helps.
Jen - hope you get your appetite sorted out. I'm eating anything and everything at the moment. Going to put on 10 stone at this rate!
I've not really felt sick so far, just constantly hungry. Had my first dizzy turn in the middle of the tour and they really fussed over me and gave me a glass of milk. Still feeling a bit rubbish. Might see if they can check my blood pressure when I go for my scan tomorrow morning, got a feeling it might be low. Have you ladies been asked to choose where you want to have your baby yet? We were asked to choose today but can change our minds later on. I've chosen the mid-wife led unit at our local hospital as it is so close, really quiet and they were lovely today. Might all have to change if we sell our house however!
Really nervous about our scan tomorrow. Panicking that they are going to tell me that something is wrong. Can't wait to see our little blueberry and know that all is well. Looking forward to telling my grandad on Christmas day! xfingers for no more dizzy turns!
Hope you're all enjoying your Sundays ladies xx
