How long does it take to bleed after trigger injection (if BFN)?

Hello

i was wondering if you knew when the bleed would start from my tigger injection (Ovirtrelle). Assuming the trigger injection was on day 1, which day would you anticipate the bleed to start - that is when it's a BFN of course!

Thanks.

My AF was 13 days after trigger inj. But I think its ok to test after 14 full days from Ovulation. So add the 36 hours to the dates my lovely. x

You won't ovulate immediately after the trigger injection. I *think* its about 24 - 36 hours after the shot that you will ovulate. So if you had the shot on day 1 for example you may not actually ovulate until early on day 3 so AF might not come until day 17.

You need to test on text day to be 100% sure. And AF will only come 14 days after you ovulate.

When you start to bleed could be affected also by whether you are taking progesterone or not. For me, on the cycles when I used progesterone, AF would only arrive 3 days after I stopped the progesterone. On the cycles where I did not use progesterone AF would arrive 17 days after the trigger. I would take the trigger at about 10pm on day one and AF would arrive between 1 and 3pm on day 17 although I did spot from day 12 after trigger on 2 of the cycles, one of which was the cycle that resulted in my BFP.

With regards the the progesterone - while I did not bleed till 3 days after stopping, there are ladies on here who have bled regardless of the fact that they were still using it and some of them even started to bleed as early as day 13 after trigger with or without the progesterone supplements.

In the end it boils down to: it is not exactly the same for everyone.
Good luck, Hun
