Second BFP

:mmmmmm

Hi All,

I got my first digital BFP saying 1 - 2 weeks on Tuesday 7 September and did another one this morning (12 September) and it came back BFP 2 - 3 weeks! I take it this is a good sign that the Hcg is increasing? My clinic only did one beta to tell if I am pregnant or not so I wanted to make sure the hormones will still on the way up? Is this a good way of finding out?

Hiya,

I do know that the digital ones can be inacurate however the fact that it has gone up is a good sign.

The best way would be to get another hcg done. I'd speak to your GP. They should be able to do one for you chick!

I don't see why not. Just explain to your GP whats going on and that you want to confirm that your HCG is rising as it should.

Hi All,

Just spoke to my lovely GP who confirmed that (whilst not routine) she was happy to get a HcG test done at the hospital where I work which is great. Will sort that out tomorrow! She was so nice and said that she could totally understand how difficult it is after IVF with all the constant monitoring and then.....nothing! She said it will take a couple of days to come back though! Not like Bourn's three hours! Anyway....not complaining!
