Hey I'm New tonight....

 Hi All,

My name is Rachel...just a brief intro...I'm 40yrs old been TTC for 10months.

Got pregnant September 2008 at 39 text book pregnancy till I was 31wks and baby was pronounced dead inside me..stillbirth March 20th 2009 Alexander Robert 3llb's in devastation for my partner and myself..11 months before that I lost my son and mother's funeral were a year apart by 3 days...enough to make you go insane with grief but I had a lot of support and did alot of soul searching and finally got myself together and were now trying again.

Bit worrying as I'm 41 in partner has given a sample yesterday to check he's not a jaffa and I'm having an HSG next week.....apparently I heard when you have an HSG in some cases people have fallen pregnant because you've had a flush out??

I may also try an IUI has anybody else had this and what are the chances????

Hope to chat to all soon

Hi Rachel,

Welcome to FZ! You will def find lots of support on here!

So sorry to hear of your losses - sounds utterly devasting and I am not sure how you have picked yourself back up.

It is true that HSG can result in pregnancy as it flushes you out - my friend fell pregnant the month after hsg.
I don't know so much about IUI Im afriad but others will.

Good luck,

Hi Rachel, and welcome to FZ.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. What a difficult time you have had.

No idea about the HSG 'flushing you out' although it sounds very possible!…Board&boardID=4 Here is a link to our IUI section. You'll find ladies who have had/are having treatment and will be able to give you lots of information and support.

Wishing you a speedy and successful TTC journey.
