Pooch, in answer to your question eh, I was in hospital thinking waters were leaking and they were not waters so that'll be a confirmative yes from me!! They gave me this massive (and I mean massive) pad at hospital and its possibly needing changed already. Oh the things we speak about. How pleasant :snigger: I have to add though, there is never any wee leak! :snigger:

Granola bar/coffee Lisa??? ?( mmmmmm

Cheers for the info Sharon. 1:8? Is that all  I asked the MW and she said she didn't know the stats which I thought was odd. But she did say i was favourable for labour. Been getting an awful lot of braxton hicks this afternoon. Much shorter than usual ones and stronger too. Bit of back ache too. I guess thats just a side effect of the sweep. Hope they are working away at something.

Went to sainsburys but sadly, I did not take home that years shopping voucher. DH would have been so pleased with me!

Poppit, sounds like you have a typical son there :snigger: How old are your boys?

I'm here I'm here glad someone missed me poppit giggle

Honest I have been on every day and reading but up to my eyeballs in it at work and stressing about the pending house rent move and selecting bloody sockets , kitchens and bathrooms etc for my new build honestly all comes at once.!!

Sooooooooooo Lizzy looks like its just round the corner for you then eh thats ace news, you def need a buddy , we go mad when someone talks like this then disappears for 5 days!

I've been feeling rubbish as well , apart from the Odema i appear to have - this week i seem to have started with dizzy spells - really strange could be stress, MW came to see me but all seemed find. I finish work next thursday and start to handover tomorrow so I can maybe start to wind down work wise.

Having a house leaving party on friday night then into the rented accom sat for a clean and nursery set up!

So Lizzy what are you going to do about house move, you have bought a new house havent you, an awful lot of work with a wee one, I am glad I am this stage (although would have been better months ago) cant imagine moving with a wee one to look after!

Deary hearing all the laugh/cough and sneeze accidents, I am ok so far but I have not been doing my pelvic floor, I used to have a wonderful pelvic floor from holding onto (TMI ALERT) my OH swimmers - when we tried before IVF :snigger: Feels loose now tho! :snigger:

Loving the pic pooch, I have a scan next week so hopefully I will get some kind of pic. MW tells me I am 1/5 engaged so thats good I spose, baby needs to move round the the front a bit more and its back is at my side at the moment.

I have been listening to all the goss - sorry I have not been chatty - I will be back to normal once I get past this stressful stage ! X(

Happy to be a baby buddy to anyone thats due before me ;-)

:hello: Dooey, I actually thought you were in BHam! Absence most definitely noted  Glad your back. Sorry your feeling so rubbish but glad you got a rented place sorted out. I think last time you posted you were just looking at a new place cause the other one you had had fallen through.....? Glad thats all going well. Yes we have indeed bought somewhere else. I tell ya what, Im never buying before we sell again. Couldn't have been more close to the bone! Sold just in the nick of time. Move 30th Oct. Not best timing must admit but I'm good at delegating :snigger:

Poppit, don't worry yourself about the strep B thing. Just pop online and buy a test for £31. Simple and easy and a bargin for peace of mind

Snail trail? There is no words to describe what I'll be slipping around in tonight. Honestly, I swear my waters must be leaking cause this is just not possible.

Sooz, sorry your feet hurt so bad

Well girls, all I can say is ouch ouch ouch! Im having lots of soreness in my back and it does seem to be a bit regular. Only been for about the last hour though so really not sure about it. Thinking its just period type pains from the sweep. Will probably still be sitting here posting about my pains this time next week :snigger:

Evening ladies :D

OMG how chatty have you all been in the last 24 hours :snigger:

Well Lizzy sounds like things are on the move for you & Sharon sounds like you may well be close behind. Good luck girls x

As for me well i have been getting a lot of braxton hicks since 2am when they awoke me from my sleep. Have a definite feeling of presure down in my pelvis with twinge like stabbing pains ?( wondering if it could be bubs getting fully engaged (was 2/5 last week) Hmmmmm time will tell i guess.......no sign of a show or waters but definetly lots of CM especially over last few days.

Not got birthing pool blown up yet as friend just left today.......could be a rush if waters go overnight :snigger:

Sorry not mentioned everyone but will be back on more regular now my friend has left. Night Night for now & take care all x

Dooey welcome back, did wonder where you got to. Hope your not too stressed out with all the moving.

Got MW on thursday, she hasnt written anything in my notes about being engaged, all she said was head down but surely she will check this week, Would love to know, feeling a lot of pressure in my pelvis too so hoping he is slightly engagaed.

Like you, Pammy, I'm just on here to check on Lizzie.
Yes, Lizzie - it did smell like coffee when I went for a pee and even DH noticed the cereal smelled of coffee. At first I thought it was my mad sense of smell again but I must have been right enough! :snigger:

We have appointment with consultant at antenatal clinic tomorrow am and then DH and I are going shopping so I'm looking forward to having a good day all being well. :D

I think there might be a delay in getting LO's room done. We have to get two radiators moved so it is warmer and more practical however the guy meant to be doing it let us down at last minute so we have had to start phoning round to get someone else. I just want to get on and get everything ready for her now.

Great scan pic, Pooch,x

Welcome back, Dooey,x

Hope everyone else is well tonight, xxxx

I shall be back later to check out what's happening on Lizzy, Shar and Scottie watch :snigger:

so, I just translated my notes from my scan yesterday and I think my LO is head down and anterior but to one side, but I really can't see how.
I feel no kicks where her legs should be and the top of my uterus still feels empty.... ?(
I got it into my head last night that her legs weren't working and the low down flutters I feel on the left are her arms and her legs aren't doing any kicking.
Got another scan on the 13th so will ask my Dr then. I hate not knowing what's going on in there

On my papers it says 0,98 percentile and there's also RI 0,61 - I know this is in german figures, but wondered if anyone can tell me what all this percentile talk is?!
My Dr said it's about as good as it can be, but I don't understand it ?(

How very exciting! Scottie wow.......... Hope you are ok..

I'll never be off all day, anyone need a BUDDY! I can give you my moby number!

Percentile, is that not how much of the head the MW can feel? I am sure I looked it up the other day as I was 4/5..

THanks Lizzy yeah I was in Bham last week but was only away for two nights, seems such a long time ago as there is so much going on at home. Cant believe you are going to move when baby is so little but yeah I spose delegation is the key, people keep asking what they can do to help but I am not sure myself haha!

woo hoo! its all go eh? how exciting!! :D
keep us all informed if you canand remember dont panic!

pooch a pertcentile is a chart to show how big/small peanuts measurments are. in my notes there are 3 different charts. on mine it shows 3 lines top, middle & bottom. the middle line indicates 50% which is average and the line above/below indicate 'normal' perameters. anything above the top line=above average or big :snigger: below the bottom line =below average. hope this helps?

i f you think of a percentile as 1%
perhaps you mean 98th percentile?? which is BIG!!

when i had my growth scan @ 30wks peanut abdomen measured of the 90th percentile which is big (like i said before 50th percentile being average)

Hey all

My goodness this thread is so exciting :D

Dooey your thinking of palpable(sp?)

Poochy wow 98th percentile, thats a long legged lady you got there :D My LO was average for everything but legs on 5th percentile so just litttle leggies for my boy.
Is it not possible Pooch that maybe you cant feel the movements higher up because of your scars etc? I honestly done feel much up top either, 90% of my movements is way low down and must be arms too. Now and again I will get little flutters of feet up my ribs but not often.

Scotty hope everything is well with you and your either gettin some rest or i too much pain to come on :snigger:

Lizzy hope your abscense means things have moved on in the night too :D

Still no word from Scottie or Lizzie then. I'm really excited.
Hopefully you won't be too far behind, Sharon.
I realised that I don't have a text buddy when it's my time either - I'm open to offers!

Just back from antenatal clinic appointment which was due to the palpitations.
I said they were just about the same and having headaches on and off with them, mainly at night and they offered me to see a cardiologist - I said no just now. They seemed quite happy with that meantime.

My Hb was up to 10.6g/dl so that was a bit better after 2 weeks of iron tablets and made me feel happier.
My White Cell Count was up a bit but urine ok. Is it normal for this count to be a wee bit raised in pregnancy, Sharon?
