Hi Poppit

you still have time for the l/o to turn hun, dont panic just yet, my friends baby was like that at 37 weeks, she spent hours on her birthing ball and on all 4's and the baby turned. My SIL baby was also breach and at 37 weeks the midwife turned her, she said it was a bit painful but better then a c-section. xxxxxx

well you know my "story" and that I am having C-section in few days, I was told that baby is breech about 32wks and it didn't change, I did things (legs up etc, used "moving light" to make baby to move etc, advice accordingly to my Pregnancy Bible book and MW in the hospital) but it didn't change. Yes WF can turn baby but again I've read there are some risks connected to this (so I prefer C-section) BUT you have plenty of time for your baby to turn (!!!) and I am sure all will be fine, 97% babies move and come to the right position. Best of luck and again, don't worry, you have plenty of time for LO to turn!

Hi Poppit - don't worry, the position of the baby at this stage is not important - he still has lots of room for moving around and turning somersaults.
They'll be looking for him to be standing on his head by 36 weeks or so --so loads of time yet ! :D

As the others have said there is plenty of time for your baby to move I experienced the same with my DD2 she jigged about all over the place in the last 8 weeks I just left it to the gods and she turned and came out perfectly.

I would suggest hough as you do have time to buy a birthing ball (Argos reebok excerise ball is fine and cheaper) and have a bouce whenever you get the chance, kneeling on all fours and moving back and forth is another way to encourage them to turn or try moxibustion tx which was suggested to me but it was a bit late for me to try but it has good reviews.

Hey poppit, sorry just noticed this thread. At my 28 week MW appointment LO was also transverse. By the time I returned for my 32 week baby was head down ready to go. Now its well buried down there.

Don't think this is something you need to worry about too much at the moment. Most likely your wee boy will turn. Plenty time for that. If he doesn't like Ginger and Paris said MW can try to turn him if need be.

Theres plenty things you can do on all 4's poppit! (of course Im referring to cleaning floors :snigger:)
