oh Poppit rotf

I'm still wearing my M&S maternity bras I bought at 10 weeks :O but I haven't found anywhere that does fitting here.
I'll have to go on the hunt for some new ones this week.
DH likes the boob fairy too, but is a bit scared of them now he knows they leak :snigger:

I'm 29 weeks tomorrow  so will pop over to the 3rd Tri, but hang out here too.

Just been to yoga, it was great. I asked her about the water retention in my legs, and she said to get some fitted stockings.
I've got a prescription from my Dr, so I reckon I'll go and get them today.
You can get black stockings so at least they might look a little bit sexy ?(

it's raining here finally

Glad your MW apt went well, Pammy,x

Good luck with your fitting later, Moogle. I got a shock when I went and was told I'm a 40E. I didn't think they could get any bigger and they may get bigger still!!!!!!! :8o:

Just you wait, Bettyboop......they will and make no mistake about that! :snigger:

Hello to everyone else and good luck to those venturing over to 3rd trimester!
I can't believe that I will be 6 months pregnant on Saturday, how time has flown so far!

Still not sleeping. I managed to get a crap 2hrs this morning after DH got up and then the phone started ringing and shattered that! I don't feel nearly as frazzled hormones wise today - I feel more human but just really bloody tired ;(

Wow the bra/boobie talk has really taken off!! Thanks for all the advice. My problem is I live in a small island in the Shetland Isles so no Markies or Debenhams for me! I will probably heading into town next week sometime so will go to the bra shop (yes there's only one bra shop!) and get measured properly. The last ones I just ordered from the internet which was excellent, came really fast, but it's expensive if you have to order a multitude of sizes to see what actually fits and then send back what doesn't!!

My uniform at work is now getting really tight... probably not helps by the drooping ... how did you put it Lisa "chesticles" :snigger: I've bought a cheap top that's the same colour and everyone says it'll be fine so that's good.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Oh Christine, it's minging weather up here eh!
My cats havent even got out of bed for the whole day - one look out the window and they gave up!!
It's just rain rain rain

I'm stuck in anyway, it was time to put a wash on - which kind of renders me clothe-less! I have only one bra (yep continuing the boob convo!!) that fits (although is starting to give me the 4-boob look) which is in the wash - so it's just as well I can have in stay-in day and let them flop about!! :O

I shhould really go and get myself some more - but I begrudge it when they'll only last a couple more weeks, before having to buy breast feedign ones! ...although if I really do start to have 4 boobs I guess I will have to!

Hope everyone#s enjoying their day!

I'm going tomorrow to get some new bras. Was showing my Mum my boobs today and she was like 'F@*$ing hell! They're huge!' I was like I know, you should see them when I take my bra off!!

My DH likes me big but I daren't let him touch them for fear of them killing me so he's only allowed to look! Poor DH!!

Morning girlies!

I feel rough this morning. Not actually been sick (I brushed my teeth with the speed of light!) and I've not had a tablet yet but think I may have to give in and take one.

Going to Babies R Us and Mothercare today!!! Its all so exciting! I got my Babies R Us brochure through yesterday and spent ages reading it from cover to cover! And then this morning I went through it all again with DH in bed and now waiting for him to get out of the shower so I can look at baby stuff (and get a new bra!)

Its so exciting all this stuff!!

Hello!

I GOT BRAS!!!

OMG, if you want to get bras and get measured properly and get advice go to mothercare. I told her I started out as a DD and Debenhams put me at an E. So she measured me and told me that during pregnancy its the bit around you that changes and the cup sizes get bigger as you change the measurement, so I was usually a 34DD and I am now a 36DD. The cups are a lot bigger than in the 34 and the Mothercare bras have loads of room to grow into them. The lass was with me for about half an hour. She let me try a load on and checked the back and adjusted the straps and everything. She was fab. Was really impressed and felt like I was in good hands. They have really quite thick bands underneath which make them so comfy! I got a T-Shirt bra which actually feels like it's underwired. Its so supportive and my boobs look like they did before. I also got a really pretty one which again feels underwired. I also bought a tankini top and bottoms so I can go swimming which also fit lovely. All in all I am very impressed with mothercare!

Hi Clarabelle

I like you already had a big bust before becoming preganant, I have also had to have another fitting as my boobs have grown alot.

Anyhow, I went to Bravissimo and like you I didn't particulary like how the non underwired bras looked. The fitter advised me that having an underwired bra as long as it fits properly would be fine until my tum starts to get higher. I brought a couple of underwires and feel totally comfortable with them.

Hi everyone,

Thanks Scottie, I will keep an eye out in my account to see.

Well, I was back at my GP this morning about the palpitations, racing heart, etc.
I got the results of the bloods they did - I am slightly anaemic and because of the symptoms, I've to get iron tablets.
They also sent me up to hospital for a 24hr tape to monitor my heart so that comes off tomorrow. I'm a bit scared,x

ooh Zoe :snigger:, sorry cant say i have done anything like that lol but i guess it beats coal!

mmm Poppit I love apple crumble, enjoy :yumyum:

Primark does have some good stuff, I bought a lovely sleeping bag for Peanut from there and it cost next to nothing.

Had a good day, finally had my hair cut, it hasnt been done for about 12 weeks and was looking a tad messy and then met up with some people from work for a leaving do. Didnt stay long though as they were in Leeds centre and it gets a bit crazy on a Friday night.

Try not to worry too much Lisa, i'm sure its just a precaution, better to be safe than sorry, hope you're ok.

i have organised a school bus as ours was cancelled last xmas as there were not enough kids to go on it. the school did not want to help get the bus back on so i have done it myself

its a 32 mile a day trip to school and parking/traffic is a nightmare and very stressful.
am gonna relax n eat a crumble or 2 LOL

zoe...no i dont go round licking shower gel or other soapy products!! now you mention it a glass of cherryade would be nice about now!¬!

Lisa, I had the 24 hour ECG too. its fine and just a precaution. they found that my heart skipped a beat 17 times in 24 hours, but that wasn't anything to worry about. funnily enough it hasn't really done it since ?(

Zoe, how funny! sometimes though, shower gel does smell good enough to eat :snigger:

Poppit, it's me that was 29weeks yesterday. we're exactly a week apart

Pammy, I get tightening and my belly goes hard after BD'ing. :O :snigger: It's weird isn't it?

I had a glass of prosecco at a wedding yesterday (the bride is 30 weeks pg so we had one each for the toast). I have to say, I don't miss drinking at all and didn't really enjoy it :8o:
Quite pleased about that

I'm working today , but DH is off on tour again and it's raining so worth it to get some extra pennies in before I stop at the end of the month.

have a splendid day girls

Thanks Pooch,

Also thanks to others who had the same who commented. I feel so much better today. I had afew palpitations last night but went on to have a much better sleep than I've had for some time and I think that has helped.

I'm taking the tape off at 2pm so will hand it back then and maybe go out to the shops for an hour.

I hope everyone else has a good day,x

Hi all well when I got up this morning I had a glass of cherryade so I wasn't tempted to lick my shower gel again which this morning didn't smell as good but while I was doing my hair I commented to my Hubby how nice my new hairspray smelt and he took it of me and said don't bother and it hadn't even entered my head :snigger:

I'm off to boots now so think I'm gonna have a little fun with him
:snigger: :snigger:

Cheryl, I also started leaking at around 24 weeks, I noticed it after watching a film that had a newborn baby crying in it :snigger:
My DH is scared of them now. But I only leak if I squeeze them.
A friend of mine has to wear pads in her bra and is also 29 weeks. :8o:

I'm still at work  it's sooooooooooooooo boring.

Pammy, I'm also eating a hell of a lot of sweet things. tonnes of crap infact.
At the wedding yesterday I ate loads of salads and stuff, which I was proud of, then ate tirimisu, trifle, plum tarts and cream! :innocent:
then went home and ate a whole pizza and half a pack of choccie biscuits :O
I've turned into a foodaholic :shush:
