light bleeding

my friend is 12 weeks gone with her first baby, hb was seen at 6 week scan and all was well. Last night she started light bleeding but it was bright red so she is very worried. It has continued today but it's more watery now. The Epu won't see her till tomorrow. Any advice as she is going out of her mind. Thanks x

Thanks both of you - my pal got her scan yesterday and baby is perfectly fine. She is still spotting but they cant explain why and have told her its nothing to worry about and it just happens to some women - she has the midwife tomorrow too so they will have a good chat about it then. Thanks again for responding x
