Hand Held Massagers

Hiya

I'm having real problems with back ache at the moment and bought a homedics hand held vibrating massager, i used it for the first time tonight but stopped after 5 mins because suddenly panicked that it might be harming the baby. it didnt say on the packaging or instructions i couldnt use it but now i feel a bit worried.

do you think its ok to use?

I doubt it's any more vibration that sitting in the car, bus or train?

"They" say that you should stay clear of lower back massages and if it is anything like the hand held massager that I used to have that could take down a house then I would avoid it.
If it is gentle and on your upper back then it might be ok.

I have started going weekly to the British school of osteopathy for my back problems. Do you know if you have something similar near you? Very gentle and effective.
It is cheaper as you have 2 students and a tutor in the room but they are all very nice so the more the merrier :)

My doc has referred me to a maternity physio for my back problems. Might be worth seeing if there's anything like that in your area?

the massager is quite strong - i've decided to take it back.
i went to have acupuncture instead. i'll have a look at osteopathy school too.

Anyone felt their bump kicking yet?
