M waters went like that though so make sure you get it checked - they just dribbled all day off and on - ds was early.

Same thing happened at 27 weeks to me again although this time said it wasn't waters, like you. had mw appt last week and she said was probably 'lucrea'(?) and that some women produce a lot of it and can be very watery so almost clear and therefore very difficult to tell difference between that and amniotic fluid.

Good luck!

Did they put the thing they use for smear tests up and try to catch any water at your cervix? Thought from when had ds that if they could collect fluid here probably was waters starting to go. You won't know if it's a dribble either. they asked me what colour the fluid was and my reply? 'I'm wearing black knickers how do I know?' Apparently you are supposed to start wearing a maternity pad so you can see.

I didn't think it was my waters but I was so wrong. they can trickle and trickle. you can ring the number in your notes for the labour unit and they will have you in, test and put you on a monitor for an hour just to be sure. Don't be afraid to keep asking them: it's their job! Take a list of times you have felt the wetness and start wearing a pad.

Good luck.

P.S. My mw told me last week that she finds it difficult sometimes to tell the difference between watery lucrea and waters going so if the professionals can get confused, how are we supposed to know?!!
