I did the Race for Life today!!!

Am just putting this thread here coz I am feeling quite proud of myself and wanted to share my success!!!!

Today I did my 10th Race for Life, in memory of my lovely mum who died 6 years ago. Felt especially emotional today as she will never meet her little grandchild, and would have been so happy for me right now.

I waddled around and it took me nearly an hour, as NO-WAY was I putting DJ at risk by being a hero, then I came straight home and went to bed, but I did it and raised £230, so, and I'm sure you'll all agree

Just for one day, I am BRILLIANT!!!!! Lol!!!!

That is something I was bothered with a lot ast 2 pregs and I would have to jump out of bed to put weight on my foot to stop it...not so easy as bump got bigger!

Has it just been since your race for life? I guess your muscles are grumpy!

I got a lot of leg cramps when I was a kid and my mum read an old wives remedy in a magazine that suggested eating an orange before bed to stop the cramping....I did try it back then and it did seem to work as I recall...but maybe all in my head! Didn't really fancy an orange at bedtime while I was pregnant though!

I haven't had any leg cramps for a while now that I think about it...obviously I am not using my muscles enough!
