LOL Bec!!!

Yes, it does kind of disapear doesn't it!

My consultant informed Dave and I when we had our first scan that any strenuous love-making was now out of the question, to which I replied "hell, any kind is now out of the question"!!!!

We didn't do it till I was about 14 wks it was horrendous my fault completely I asked DH if he could feel it .......... meaning the remote control we must of been laying on it as the tele kept on switching over and he thought I meant the baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so the mood was lost as you can imagine.

Then at 20wks I would of had sex with the post man if I could of! I was having sexy dreams every night and thought I was the hottest babe in town.

That didn't last too long and since about 24wk i have no interest in sex at all we have done it but it's not the same especially if the baby kicks 8o

We did it just once in the 1st trimester and it was fine and it was great not to have to just lie there afterwards and get up and have a wee (tmi I know). However, I wish dh would just have a good old snog and leave it there a bit more often.

I love sleeping on my front but even now at almost 7 1/2 weeks I am finding it uncomfortable, and I don't even have a bump yet.

And bed room action is definately on hold at the moment as I am too knackered... have done it once since finding out I was pregnant!

So many of you are saying numb hips - I get bruised hips. They're so tender, often for most of the rest of the day. I'm a real lie-on-your-front girl, so I'm hating being on my side.

Quick tip - the first night after you give birth, lie on your front and enjoy it!! Once your milk comes in, your boobs will be what stops you lying on your front - like lying on two rocks rather than one boulder. 8o After a few weeks, though, when milk supply settles down, I found I could lie on my front when I first went to bed, though by the time the next feed was nearly due, I had to go back onto my side as my boobs had filled up.

I have sex... not as often as we used to but at least twice a week.
DP complaints that I am shutting him out since I am holding him back abit but spooning is perfect...

I am so tired most of the time that he almost has to carry me upstairs but if we have a morning in bed then we might get up to things!

I will let him know that things might look up during the 2nd trimester!! :)

Thanks for the tip Limpet!!!! I do remember going to see my older sister in hospital when she had her first. I was only 12 at the time, but the one thing that has stuck in my head is the first thing she said was how great it was to sleep on her tummy again!!!!!!!

oh limpet! isnt it wonderful!! but i did have to ring the buzzer to get a nurse to help me back up! after a section its a wonder i didnt cause myself an injury, but i slept so well that night! lol!

(and one of the things i truly missed during pg, (dont throw up please?!) was liver and onions! and it was on the menu that night! the only thing that could have made that day any better would have been a runny egg! lol!
:D

plus id just had dan! pretty amazing day by anyones standards i think!! :D

god limpet - yes!

although I had a c-section so couldnt lay on my front - even now I can barely lie on my side because the boob in the air will be so sore/swollen/big!

anyway, in my 3rd trimester I went through a really horny stage even though I was huge (must have been the hormones!) but DH was totally switched off by my body and freaked by the image of a baby inside - it made me so sad :(

now we're too knackered to think about it, and I feel like an invasion of the body snatchers and dont want anyone touching me. I laughed when the GP wanted to discuss contraception! :D

like you other gals say though - I wish DH could just snog me without wanting more afterwards!

I'm planning prawns to start, followed by a nice juicy rare steak, with tiramisu soaked in brandy for desert, then the runniest smelliest gorgonzola to finish, all washed down with a bottle of red wine! I doubt very much that will be on the menu in hospital though (another good argument for a home birth)!

I notice this thread started off about sex and moved on to food. What does that tell you about whats important to FZ girls!

Yeah, DH won't be cutting the cord, he'll be at Tescos buying me food!
Don't worry about the prawns, the risk is off listeria or salmonella, but only if they aren't cooked properly. If you were going to have food poisoning it would have happenend by now.

I was really looking forward to alcohol too - abstained during the run up to treatment and then the whole 9 months so was desperate. Checked with m/w & peadatrician - yep all clear can have 1 or 2 glasses and breast feed no problem... what happened? had half a glass - p*ssed - headache - gut rot - screaming baby at 3am - not a good combination, never again LOL! I've had LOADS of liver and bacon though, love it!
