Need a cyber hug gang - UPDATE!!!

Hi all

Am having ' a moment' and need some FZ love please gang!!!

Long post - bear with me!

We had our wonderful BFP a couple of weeks ago, and its simply the best thing thats ever happened to me. Full stop! Since then I've been going to my clinic for HGC tests every other day, as is part of the ARGC practice to keep a really close eye on you for the first few weeks, which is great coz I have had m/c before and I do have a dodgy thyroid. It is however a 6-7 hour round trip, which is a bit knackering to say the least!

ANYWAY, the HGC levels have been slow to increase, they have been going up in chunks, which is brill, but not where they should be, so at 6 weeks (yesterday) they asked me to come in for a scan.

My scan yesterday showed 2 sac's, so thought - twins, but whilst one has a strong heartbeat, the other doesnt so its possible its just too early for it yet, or that I've had an early loss. So my levels look even worse now there are 2 of them. My lovely ARGC gang have asked me to go in for NK cell tests, as they are worried about all this, so am off again today and may have IVIG soon if the results are not as they should be.

I am just a bit overwhelmed with it all today, I am so worried that my darling little beanie/s might not ever come to be, and I am just in a bit of a state, so thought I'd poor it all out here.

Sorry to be nelly negative, you know I am always perky but I am just so tired and worried right now.

xxxxx

HI Cathie

What a long journey you have and you've been going so regularly.

Like the others have said, you have 1 lovely strong HB and the other may just need to catch up. At least they are keeping a good eye on everything for you. Let us know how you get on, thinking of you.

Cathie,

So sorry you are worrying, this 1st 12 weeks is a worrying time without any complications, but as one of the other girls have sed, u seem to be getting the best possible treatment and care!

They are probably doing these extra tests as a precautionary measure to be on the safe side.

Hope you feeling better soon, sending lots of love and pma your way!

hey honey. I had my first scan yesterday cause I had a bit of bleeding and was worried. They found 2 little babies in there and the one that was further away from the camera, his little heartbeat was very faint, and I said this to her but she said its cause he is further away from the scanner thing. Anyway, he moved and the next thing, his little heartbeat was very strong.

Its such a worry this whole thing. Maybe that happened to you too cause he was a bit further away.

Sending you a big hug and you know I am the bigger worrier!!! I am so worried that something will happen to my little ones too.

RE: Need a cyber hug gang - UPDATE!!!

Thanks for all your lovely kind words gang, is really nice of you!

Am changing my outlook and am determined to celebrate my one healthy little heartbeat, anything more that that is unlikely, but I am fine and so very grateful that, so far, little beanie is ok.

My NK cells came back all clear, which is brilliant and I am on steroids just to try and boost my system and ensure there is a great bloodflow to my womb!!

So all is good, trying not to worry or think 'what might have been' and looking forward to the next few weeks flying by so I can chill a bit - oh and have a full 4 days without having to go to clinic, so woot woot, normality is restored - for now!!

Thanks so much for caring

So happy for you Cathie that your precious beanie looks okay.

Nice to have that break from the clinic so you can relax.

Much wishes being sent to you and it will be okay you will see. :cheese:
