Has anyones symptoms started fading?

Title says it all really. I am 9+6 with twins, and starting to feel alot better in the evenings. Sickness seems to have eased and I am not as tired as early as I used to be. Boobs are slight less sore, more tender (although appearance is still changing).
Still just as sick in the mornings etc.
Just wondered how everyone else was feeling?

Hiya Baby Fairy,

I worried all the way through - are signs fading - or are you getting used to them, so now you dont notice them as much????
I used to get a stich on my left i worried and worried Dr'd all said it was nothing, so i was like ok i'll belive you but still worry then when the stich went i worried that now something must be wrong cause the pains gone hee Hee NUROTIC.
I also did a million preg tests even up to 20 week scan because i coul;dnt feel any movement and i was getting upset.
I kid you not as soon as i had scan I could feel them move that nt.
The best thing you can do is destract yourself when you get the worry feelings, try to think of anything else, it was the only thing that helped me.

You could always phone your mid wife for a chat see if she can ease your worry.

Hi Babyfairy

i am 10 weeks today, and my symptoms have also started to fade. I'm trying not to worry about it, and just enjoy feeling better. Like you my hours of sickness are diminishing, I deel fine during the day and only sick for a few hours in the evening.

From what i have read it is perfectly normal that you would start feeling better from now on. It just varies hugely from person to person.

I'm sure it is fine.

Have you had any answers at all?
All ok here that I know of. Getting fatter daily! Got my 12 week scan next Thurs.
Very scared something could have gone wrong (with no reason to) but fingers crossed.

Babyfairy, glad you are much happier now sweetie.
I had a panic at 9 weeks-ish and again at 15 weeks. I think it's down to hormone surges and the fact that are bodies get used to and adapt to being pregnant! lol

At 9 weeks I phoned the midwife and she said "you'll be fine"... it was weird cos she so reassured me and then like you.. i started getting symptoms again.

Good luck with your 12 week scan.. it will be so lovely to see your babies, you'll be amazed at how much they have grown! :D

How weird. Not long after i posted last week mine came back hugely too. They are starting to tail off again - although perhaps they are just changing - who can tell, every day seems to be so different.

Elmo

I suffered terribly from bad headaches right up till about 20 weeks. Honestly they were horrendous and I would hang off taking anything but that made them worse. The only thing that worked was a dark room and lots of rest and 2 paracetamol.

They will ease off but its all the extra hormones in there with it being twins as I never suffered from them in my first pregnancy. The Consultant said they were really common esp in twin pregnancies.

And yet again today, the symptoms are lesser. Was having a lot of dry heaving this morning, but was not actually sick for the first time in god knows when, and now I am worrying.
Was cramping last night, and terrified of the obvious......... until I did a huge windy pops, and "ohhhh- that felt better" :innocent:

Funny you should say that about the headaches, i seem to have a constant vague headache at the moment. Not really bad, but enough to be annoying. I'm just living with it at the moment, saving the paracetomol for when i really need it.

When I was pg with ds had terrible headaches and don't normally suffer nwith them. I used those cool strips that go on your forehead and stayed in a darkened room.

As for symptoms with ds lost stone and a half in first 12 weeks as was so sick. In fact never really bloomed!
This time though completely different. Felt queasy at beginning and had more pains, (but clinic said right ovary still very enlarged with a big cyst on it). Am always worrying because feel so different and keep thinking will mean will all go wrong. Had 71/2 wk scan which was okay but now have to wait three weeks for nuchal. Aargh! I hate waiting.

Hi olo - mine started easing at about 10 1/2 weeks, then about a week ago, i started having good periods and then whole good days. I now feel entirely well.

From everything I've read that is quite normal.

However, don't forget it is different for everyone. I have one friend who had no symptoms at all at any stage of her two pregnancies, and my sister in law who felt terrible all the way up to 20 weeks.
