sorry I haven't been around lately. Photos are great! You must be over the moon. How are you feeling in general? do you have the typical morning sickness?

Hello apple,

We are over the moon to get this far, a bit worried about the 12ww scan cause we are just passin over the critical peroid of where the organs have been forming, so we are nervous cause we know if something is missing or too much it ... never mind dont want to go down that road, I am sure it will be alright

Generally sick as a dog but getting better now, was sick from start but not too bad and just got worse in the last 2 weeks and from the beginning so tired, really tired, now it is exhaustion but know that will pass in a week or so

So good to hear from you, how are you when are you starting?

I like the name Kitty too we have a friend called Kitty and my aunt is May and saw someone had put it together on another site and loved the name.

Your baby is so beautiful. You and DP (DH) must be so proud and excited to meet her/him.

About the sickness etc... I hear it all starts to go after the first trimester so I hope it happens for you soon.

Fantastic pictures, really clear and so exciting! :D

I have my 12 wk scan on Tuesday 27th (when actually i will only be 11 weeks and 4 days) and im getting really nervous now, thinking what if this and what if that, which Im sure most women go through. Also my sickness has calmed down too, so im thinking is that because there is something wrong with the baby, or just like it says all over the internet, that sickness starts to subside after 10 weeks.

Such a worrying time, but i suppose that is preparing us for impending motherhood!!!

just to say we went for a private scan yesterday and everything is as it should be . Heartbeat around 168bpm, measures as 2-3 days ahead at 10 weeks 1 day, saw it dancing around, it was amazing so just waiting for the green light for the 12week scan, crossing our fingers it will be all okay.

Really happy to have read your thread Kate.

I have a question - I have got the clinic to change my scan from next Monday as it was awkward with work, to tomorrow, so I will be 7wks and 1 day, rather than 7wks and 6days. They said tomorrow is earlier than they would like to do it and they may not be able to detect a heartbeat yet, but they can't fit me in any later this week.

Exactly what day did you girls go, and get a heartbeat? Do you think this is too early? Thanks in advance

6 weeks was my first scan and there was a clear heartbeat then, dont worry it will be fine and you will see it no problem, dont know why they said this as my clinic does all scans at 7 weeks, maybe another reason behind it.

Hope this helps

I am so glad you're loving it!

I am fine thanks. My GP referred me to the Fleet hospital as she thinks I may have little bit of endometriosis as my lower back hurts for months now and I went to her to check this out. So I have an appointment on 10th June with the hospital and they will probably book me in for a laparoscopy. GP said that if I have endometriosis, they will remove it with the laparoscopy. I only wish I have it as it will explain why I can't get pregnant (I just hate the unexplained fertility). At least if I have it, they will remove it and might get preggie afterwards. Will see. I am schedule to go for another ICSI in September and I think I will be more prepared as I follow Zita's diet and exercise so figures crossed it will happen 3rd time around.

Don't worry about the 12 month scan, all looks very positive and I am so happy for you. When the time comes, will you want to find out if it's a boy or a girl?

Thats great that you have some news that you are having the op done. I have a feelin that it will work out for you both, I just know it. So nice to hear from you it really is and good to know that you are lookin ahead with optimism. Zeta is a hard one but I think she may have something behind it.

We are just waiting to see if all is good news at the moment, crossing our fingers. We both will want to know the sex as soon as we can, been waiting too long to wait for a surprise, besides I know we couldnt wait.

It depends. If you have been having fertility treatment, or you have been having problems such as bleeding, then they may scan you earlier. If they do it will be an internal scan but at six weeks you are unlikely to see a heartbeat. If your pg is without complications and 'natural' then you may not get a scan until 12 weeks as shell said.

Good luck tomorrow

i had a miscarriage in april but i have asked if i would get an early scan next time round and they said i wouldn't as they couldn't see the need as it is common to have a miscarriage. cruel of them really. but i will be going for a private scan next time round. i wouldnt be able to wait until 12 weeks. it would be too much. good luck tomorrow
