The Big O

Okay ladies...... sorry if this is tmi, but I have read conflicting information on orgasms, one article I have read said they are fine just that my increased heart rate will make the babies jump around and then another says it can cause miscarriage???

Now why would docs say it is safe for sex and foreplay but not mention not to have orgasms as it could harm? Just wondered if any of you had been told anything?

I was told that sex was fine as long as I was not bleeding and that there was nothing physically that you could do to induce a MC.
Vibrators are supposed to be distressing for the baby (in case this is the means of creating your O).

Edited to say that this advice was given by three very esteemed consultants but separate occations...

I was told by my midwife that it was perfectly safe to O in pregnancy, and that the baby actually gets the euphoric feeling and is good for them. I was also told that inserted toys should be avoided.
