Piles.....of pain tee hee

Hello ladies
I have suffered piles in the past, they come and go, even given it a name!! yes i know im mad, its a code word to my friends :snigger: :snigger: anyway i suffer from IBS so rarely go, since i have become P i have become more "regular" but still rabbit pellet look if you get my meaning!! :snigger: well, i had blood the other day, and now im scared to go cos it's soooooo sore, but then ill end up constipated...any advice, is it safe to use creams etc? or do i have to grit my teeth and breath through the pain (handy for a few months time i guess!!!)

BB I had the same problem a while back & used topical cream with no problems. I also spoke to my GP & got prescribed a stool softner in capsule form (cant take lactulose as makes me vomit ) Dont suffer honey as it will only get worse as your pregnancy progresses I am afraid.

I had them when pregnant too. Not fun eh?! I'd check with the pharmacist that its ok to use creams. And then as Scottie says - a trip to the GP for something to help 'loosen things up' I reckon.

Drink lots and lots of water and eat prunes, I had the same problem with the rabbit like poos but then I started to eat prunes and it made it much better, I'm now on iron tablets which have made it worse again so I'm eating even MORE prunes.

Hope it gets better soon.

Poor you!

Oh dear, poor you! Sounds awful! Hope the GP can help, you don't want to suffer with it for the rest of the pregnancy.
