sharp stabbing pains

i am having quite sharp stabbing pain .... almost like i am being stabbed on my cervic ... shooting pain, last for a second or so ....

sometimes they make me double over - only seems to happen when i am standing.

What are they ?

They may be your uterus stretching chick. But if you are concerned phone your midwife. xx

I had this, but not until quite late on, how far gone are you? I don't think anything will be wrong, as Clare says just your uterus but get it checked if you are concerned

i had this too hun, it is really sore at times, but if you are worried at all ring your midwife, thats what she is there for. let us know how you get on xxx

nearly 22 weeks - thats all.

they dont hurt really .. just sort of make me go oooooo .... seems to be after i have had a wee.

HAve just had lengthy chat on phone with midwife about similar things......problems with pain AFTER going to loo.....and nerve type pain in waist. (like really bad stitch)...originally thought it was round ligament pain but cos leaning forward doesnt help they are now sceptical .

Am seeing doc on Monday and having a mid flow wee test done

THe stitch ciuld be baby on a nerve.

SHe thinks the pains arent anything to worry about but because of the amount of discomfort Im getting and the stitch like pains she wants me to get checked out locally.
