I would defo recommend you get a swing as while you are attending to one then that should help pacify the other, it was a godsend for me x

Heres another question...

I was advised to get 2 vibrating chairs as they are essential. After a bit of thought I have been considering getting one playmat/gym and one vibrating chair so I could swap them about and keep them entertained that way...

Now I'm starting to wonder again...

We're not getting a moses basket etc so where have people been putting their twins when they sleep in the daytime? My friend kept a single baby on her sturdy sofa ensuring she couldn't roll off. I'm starting to think the vibrating chairs are the answer as they are useful for other things too.

Does anyone have any practical experience?

I'm not having moses baskets either much to everyone elses disgust (particularly MIL), I have a hyper pooch and have images of her knocking them over or jumping in with them! Instead I'm putting a cot downstairs with a cot divider to see how we get on and will go from there.
