Hi Knighty
I have been the same, just going into the kitchen was enough to send me running for the loo. All i can say is don't worry about what your eating if you find something that stays down then go with it. I had to see the DR during week 8 'cos i was being so ill and the DR said just to go with what ever stays down and try to stay hydrated, which was easier said than done at the time.
My friend survived most of her 1st trimester on pink iced doughnuts from M&S 'cos it was the only thing she could face

, and her little girl is now 6 mnths and gorgeous so it doesn't seem to have done her much harm.
All i will say is that it should get a bit better in a few weeks, i've gone from being sick 6-7 times a day to 1-2 now i'm in week 11 (sorry of TMI), and although i still don't want to cook or prepare food i am finding more things appealing even if DH has to do the actual cooking.
I hope some if this helps
Oh yeah the DR also told me i had to make sure i was having afternoon naps and lots of rest, but apparently the tiredness gets a bit easier in 2nd trimester but i'm not there yet so can't say for sure.
