AF pains but BFP

Got my BFP 2 d ago but every evening for the past 3 nights I've had AF pains.
Fine during the day then about 6.30 they start and carry on for 2-3 hours.
Fairly mild, no bleeding and in other respects I feel fine.
Is this normal, I'm panicking!!

Congrats on your BFP!

I remember having those pains, I think they are called implantation pains - I think!

Try to rest up as much as possible.

Hi i got my bfp yesterday and i have got af pains too they come and go and i have a pain in my groin like i do when i have my af.

I rang my doctor and she said its normal as long as their is no bleeding.

AF pains are perfectly normal so don't worry at all!
You may find that you get them when your next af would be due too, i did but this is nothing to worry about either as long as everything else is ok and there is no bleeding

They've stopped now, bang on 9.30. V strange!!

V. nervous, particularly as one of the nurses at the clinic was quite negative when I told them I was rpegnant.
I'm trying to remain positive tho and feel a lot bettter for coming on here.

Congratulations on your :BFP: Ruthie - well done to you both, you must be delighted.


Bah Humbug to that nurse - what was the use in her being negative??
(Maybe she was just having a bad day)

I think we tested on the same day (08/10?) and I've been feeling a littly crampy at various times too, but having read the various advice round the site, I don't think it helps to assume anything negative is up at all.
That and I've defintely got more wind ...

Those pains I had too and was the only initial symptom of pg I had to begin with.
