Best ginger tea?

Hey guys,

I am suffering with morning sickness and was wondering if anyone has tried some ginger tea and found a good brand. I have tried two and they seem so weak! I used to drink one in Canada and the brand was Yogi and that was good.

Any advice?

thx

Sorry, all the ginger teas I tried were a bit on the weak side too so took to drinking 'Old Jamaica ginger beer' - nice and fiery, but probably a bit naughty with all the sugar in it ?(

...had a thing for limes too so had to have it with 3 or 4 wedges in

I've been drinking Twinings ginger and lemon tea, thats nice. I'm sure chopped root ginger covered with boiling water then strained would do the trick though, maybe with a bit of honey added. You can buy Yogi tea online as well, amazon sell it, or just google it and loads of sites come up. I like their womens tea.

I have the lemon and ginger one too, but I want one that is more gingery as I need it at times!

I know that you can cut up ginger and pour water over that, but that seems like a lot more work when I am tossing my cookies!!

Thanks for the tip on the Yogi tea! If I thought DH would get to a grocery store, I would get him to buy me some while he is in Canada, but I think he is too busy with meetings and things. :(

i was gonna suggest using real ginger too. its lovely, i dont bother chopping it properly - just bung it in.
hope the sickness improves. i'm finding nesquik milkshakes diamond at the moment - whenever i feel a bit sick one of those babies sorts me out for ages.

xx

Oooh Livia, I drank loads of chocolate Nesquik last time I was pregnant, for the calcium naturally. Must buy some this weekend.

Qwerty, I know what you mean about the effort though, most days getting off the sofa for a wee seems like hard work!
