Yes, Chilli - I do know what I'm having, but since my DH doesn't want to know, it's been my secret for 16 long weeks. I haven't told a single soul and I really can't, so don't try to persuade me! I wish I could just blurt it out and be done with it, but since he doesn't want to know, I've been very careful to say "it" all the time. I went to a NCT Nearly New Sale a couple of weeks ago and tried to buy neutral coloured baby-gros, but had to include a couple with a giveaway colour because they were such a bargain, so I've hidden those. It's sooo hard knowing when he doesn't!

Had a total of three fresh IVF cycles and three frozen transfers (embryos and blastocysts)
m/c @ 11 weeks in 2007 DS1 and DS2 born from fresh IVF cycles

I've just finished everything on my to do list and now am wondering what to do with myself

Tomorrow we are having a farewell fuddle for me so that will kill an hour or two. Other than that I guess I'll be chatting on FZ

It doesn't quite feel real! I feel like I'm just having a couple of weeks off not rushing headlong into motherhood. I am SO excited. I can't believe its real. I actually feel a bit teary. sorry xxx

Well done Bec - you've made it. I stopped last week and instantly felt so much tireder and bigger - I think I had made myself keep going going going. That's not to be negative, but make sure you get some good sleep and rest this weekend to keep your strength up.

Like Limpet, I felt more tired too once I left, my feet and hands swelled each day too. Weird eh, you must keep telling your body to keep going cos you know you have to.

Hurray I'm at home and I don't have to go back to work until at least November I am SO SO happy. My feet are already swollen like melons so can't see it getting much worse. My feet swelled so much today that the button popped off them! I'm going to have to be bare foot and pregnant for the next 7ish weeks!

Just re-read the above and realised that it might sound like I have button-up feet like I'm some kind of Frankenstein's monster or edward scissorhands! this is not the case - the button popped off the one pair of shoes that came close to fitting me.

I'm bored out of my gourd! Only started mat leave yesterday but jeeehsus what am i supposed to do for the next six weeks or so.

I' ve done myself a timetable of stuff to do but I'm a chatty person and I'm really missing being able to just turn to someone and talk aimlessly. Plus my feet hurt so much that I can't even really hobble into town even if I had any bloody money to spend once i get there! All my friends work. i know i shouldn't whinge but it comes so naturally to me

Anybody got any suggestions for fun stuff to do?

Join a DVD club (monthly fee for as many dvd's as you can watch) , put your feet up & catch up on all those things you haven't got round to seeing?

See if the NCT have an active birth class in your area, usually once a week & great fun to meet other mums to be.

All my family and friends live in Essex.. I know people here but they are not friends or people i could or would want to spend time with do you know what i mean.

I finished work today!! Ok so since being pg i haven't excatley been hard at it but I did still do a few days a week (well half days

) anyway I am really ready I was going to do till the end of the month but I am exhausted now I have my NCT class about breast feeding tonight and I really am going to struggle.

Very sad day though as I loved going to this particular office, always ahd a giggle with them all and very supportive of my pg.

I feel sooooo pg I am going to pop soon!

Chilli, have a lovely pre-baby maternity leave. make sure you have naps in the afternoon in case bubba decides to make a late night appearance!!! I can't believe we are so close to the big day now. I feel the same as you, so pregnant I'm going to pop. still got an inny belly button though!
