Thanks for all the replies ladies, it means a lot x

That's interesting jl333 - it's obviously not that unusual. I'll look out for your posts (I'm also around 7 weeks just behind you!)

The scary thing is it's quite a big clot & I'm getting v anxious everytime I need to go to the loo in case I set it off.

At least I know what the problem is though, I just hope I get to next week without bleeding xfingers

Update - had scan and little one (Del boy) is still there & growing normally. The clot (or Subchorionic Hematoma as she called it) is now behind the sac but it hasn't got any bigger (it's about the same size as the sac.)

Everyday I get this horrible dark brown discharge but am kind of used to it now and am thinking as long as it stays like that & doesn't get too heavy and as each day goes past the better chance etc. So trying to be positive.

This probably sounds daft but I didn't want to have a scan on "Friday 13th" so am going back on 19th for the next one. If everything is ok I will start a proper diary.

Take care xxx

Hi
Pleased it all looks ok at the moment. I'm pretty sure that the type of clot you have is what Jane April also has and Eeyore posted some info in the second half of this thread. BLEEDING IN PREGNANCY

xfingers that your pregnancy is uneventful from hereon and Delboy is looking good on the 19th

Hi Hun,

It is the same as Jane April has had and she is 13 weeks gone with twins.

I know it must be a very worrying time for you and I am hoping and praying.

Its good to see the scans aren't too far apart as I'm sure this will help.

Will be keeping an eye on you hun.

Hi ladies,
A very quick update as I'm at work! Apologies for not being on here for a while, been trying to distract myself this week but will catch up properly this weekend.

Had internal scan this morning and it was good news. The blood clot has reduced and they said that some of it has obviously been absorbed by the body.

So I don't need to go back to the fertility clinic any more now and am waiting for the midwife at my GP to get in contact with me. I will start a proper diary shortly as am now 10+ weeks.

Thanks for all of your support x
