Endometrosis pain

Hey all

Just wondering if anyone can help?

I suffer from endometrosis and im 7 weeks pregnant. This mornin i woke in agony with cramps and sweating just like pain i suffer with my periods due to endo.
No blood and within hour pains had passe
Has anyone else with endo. suffered from pains in the 1st trimester????

Location: Romford - Me 30. MC @ 14 wks Aug 03. 7 courses of Clomid all bfn, waiting for af to start iui when shock natural bfp. M/C 29/06/2010.Separated from ex-DH in 07/10. In a new(ish) relationship with an old friend and ttc no 2 :)

Hi Mel

I didnt have endo but I did have af pains until quite recently, some of them had me in tears as I genuinely though I was about to start me af.

i suffered with cramps in my first trimester as well up till 10 11 weeks hunny i no its so worrying and if you are still worried give your midwife a call but cramps early on can be completly normal but that doesnt stop us worrying x

Hiya. I have endo and my left side has played up for a couple of years and that pain is certainly still there- also had period cramps which are only just starting to get less frequent. I would say to get checked over if you were in agony though. To give you an idea of pain scale- I'll do what the hospitals do and rate it from 1-10 (10 being agony), my pain would only maybe be a four- doesn't stop me from doing anything (although the tiredness does!).

Hi Melcxx

I have endo on my left ovary and am into my 6th week but no major pains so far. my consultant told me that pregnancy will sort out my endo problem altogether because the high levels of progesterone you have in pregnancy inhibits the flares and suppresses the endo altogether.

Double bonus! I would ask the clinic about the pains you've described just to be on the safe side. You are under their care and you need to keep them informed.
