Hi ladies. This is really new to me and I've never been through this process before. My husband and i have been trying for a number of years and although I'm healthy he does have low numbers. We will be going through ICSI in RFC Belfast but my head is all over the place lately. We went on the waiting list on 17th of Feb 2018 and were told nine months. Has anyone else received their top of the list letters for ICSI recently who went on around my time? I've been postman hunting every single day!

Hey babycandy, I went on ICSI Dec 7th and got to the top of the list Sept 8th. So if it’s still the same wait it’ll prob be only a couple more weeks for you.
Oh Wow! It really does start to get real now, doesn't it!? What happens when i receive my letter then? I am completely in the dark with the process

You'll have to ring the number they give you to accept the treatment, usually a Wednesday and Thursday only. Then you'll get another letter where you'll have 2 apts, one is just a blood sample apt for you and your husband, it's only a short one. The 2nd apt is you PTC where they give you all your drugs and explain to you how to use them, it'll be a couple of hours. You start the drugs on day 21 of your cycle so you work from that.
I only had my PTC yesterday and my day 21 won't be until the end of November, so it depends on your dates when you start. Even though my top of the list letter came sept 8th I'm not starting drugs until 2 months after that.
Okay, so still could be a little way to go yet.

Babycandy, we went on the list 17th jan for Icsi and got our letter 4 weeks ago, you should get yours anyday now!! We have our bloods appt next Wednesday with PTC on the 21st nov, my day 21 is 23rd so hopefully they let me start then in the run up to Christmas x
Oh wow Etoot! How exciting! I cant wait to get home from work everyday to see if the postman has been! Like a child at christmas! Lol
So it really all depends on when your day 21 falls then! My AF stopped yesterday so if my letter comes soon i could be pretty close to you!!

Yes you cud be, after I accepted I had my appts letter 4 days later which was pretty quick I believe, then 3 week wait for bloods and PTC 13 days later, it really is all down to timing, if my day 21 was a few days earlier I’d have another 4 wk wait to start really!

Babycandy18, hope your letter comes soon. I got my top of the list letter in July and only had my PTC last week due to TSH levels needing to come down and having to spend 8 weeks on Thyroid medication before I could get started. Fingers crossed all goes well for u and u get started as soon as letter arrives. Good luck!

I wonder if anyone on here has been in my situation. I had frozen transfer on 1 November , and got BFP on 12 November it said 2-3 on clear blue , I had tested earlier and I got a BFP on day 7 post 5 day transfer. I have recently tested on day 13 and 15 and in the morning it is 1-2 weeks on clearblue and in afternoon it goes to 2-3 weeks.
My question is when should the monitor change to 3+ weeks? I am worried I may be having another chemical pregnancy but surprised that it has gone back up twice when testing. I don't recall my chemical pregnancy going on for as long as this last time and I don't think it went to 2-3 on clearblue. I am concerned that the tablets I am taking for FET are suppressing the bleeding and they may be proloinging the inevitable. I am also having slight cramps but not as bad as my last chemical pregnancy.
Could you let me know your thoughts?

Annie I wouldn't get too worried about what the clear blue is saying they are notorious for being not very reliable and can sometimes add more stress than necessary ..if you were using normal pregnancy tests then you would be showing as pregnant on all of them no matter what time of day . That being said I would still go to doc and ask for a blood test to check HCG levels and put your mind at rest ..I really do hope that it's good news and this is your time xx
