Glad to hear all is going well wannabee and sparkle, ladies it really does only take one so I wouldn't get to hung up on the quanity of eggs at egg collection that's my only bit of advice, there's people out there that have one egg collected and get pregnant you just never no! I had 17 eggs ended up with 2 tranfefed on day 3 and none in the freezer and I have my 12 week scan on Monday! I hated the whole " what's meant to be will be" saying through my treatment but it really is the case! I remember crying my eyes out at my tranfer thinking how did I loose all them other eggs and be left with 2 not amazing quality embryos but look at me now! I wish use all the best in the next few weeks and hope to see some BFPs! X

Hi ladies, the egg collection wasn’t painful just a little uncomfortable and nurses and doc were all really nice and put me at ease. From the time they put in the iv into my arm and egg collection was complete I’d say 5 mins in total. So if going to RFC for egg collection don’t worry you won’t feel much

Only got 2 eggs feeling disappointed as on tue I had 6 so was hoping I would have had 12 today (I think they were eggs, doc said 3 in each ovary).

Then today they couldn’t access my left ovary so couldn’t get the eggs from it.

Last summer grove hill noticed one ovary wasn’t easy to see so sent me for a laparoscopy to fix it as it appeared to be stuck to my bowel, but when they went in it was hanging freely and looked healthy.

I’m disappointed with what happened today, but they told me all I need is one. I just wanted a few have put on ice. But at this stage if I get one for transfer I will be ecstatic. I need to ring at 1030 tomorrow to see how my two little eggs got on.
:S :S

Curls! Don't be worrying around the time of my eggs collection a lady had one egg and ended up pregnant please try to not worry or count yourself out, them 2eggs could be stronger than any of fhe 17 i had we just don't no, I think it's while when people get hung up on how many eggs, I done it myself but in the long run aslong as you get the tranfer what difference does it make x

yes daisy thats so true. i was such a slow starter with my eggs i was totally happy with quality over quantity.. its just all different for everyone isnt it.

good luck for ur 12 week scan on monday.. : D

curls so many times on here you read about that one egg at collection that sticks.. dont worry one but about it, get to transfer and then everyone has the same shot.
even people with a day 2 transfer with a low quality embryo fall pregnant, its just up to our bodies once its in there xxxxx

Curls well done, I was in rfc today too we were probably in recovery together and didn't even no. I Will be praying for you to fight also xx
The nurse did say quality over quantity so I will not get hung up on it. Roll on transger.

I had a day 3 tranfer so wannabeee, when I went back for my 7 week scan they even remembered me because I broke down at it saying "just tell me the truth do use think am out" I was convinced this wasn't going to work because all I read on here was about how day 5 was better, I convinced myself that much that it wasn't going to work that I think I took about 15 tests in total and booked an early private scan where I even thought they were gona tell me I wasn't even pregnant lol It was just such a shock to me when it worked but now looking back I realise EVERYONE who has a tranfer has a chance at getting pregnant regardless of what day it's transfered it's up to that embyro and your body weather it works x

That's it hopefulgirl if it makes us better thinking we can do anything extra to help then we will do it, plenty of protein, water and hot water bottle just from 1st day of stims.
I've got the pinapple and Brazil nuts in now for after transfer lol. I was lucky my reflexology lady specialised in fertility. I did acupuncture last week and booked in for after transfer.
I just took pregnacare every day and OH took a multivitamin. I have had 1 glass wine during spray and nothing bar that for months xx

Definitely wannabee anything we think will help we will try. Iv a small water bottle got so I can sit at my desk with it without any1 seeing lol I'm going to book accupunture for before egg collection and after transfer too. Are u to ring tomorrow to see how your wee embies are? Are u taking time of work next week or just seeing how things go? Soo exciting we are at this stage I mind months ago when the cuts were going on and we thought we'd never get to this stage and now it doesn't even feel that long ago.

Hi ladies, bad news one egg didn’t make it and the other fertilised but hasn’t developed as well as it should have so won’t be implanted. I was very upset but after chatting with my mum and hubby it’s for the best as we see what’s wrong with my ovary and next time get a higher number of eggs as I really want some to freeze to give us another chance if the fresh doesn’t take, so unfortunately we’re back in limbo

Curls you have a great attitude, wish you all the best for the next step xx
My house has not stopped this day, Out of the 9 collected 8 have fertilized so I'm very happy with that, OH was so proud he landed home at lunch with the biggest bunch of flowers ever so I'm very happy today.

I have to call on Sunday morning at 8am but the embryoligist thinks it will d efinately be a 5 day transfer so more than likely I will be in Tuesday. I will be happy with 1 or 2 blasts xx

Wannabee and Sparkle that is fab news about your EC's, im super excited for you both. Curls sorry to hear your news. I'm gutted for you and wish you well for the next time.

Unfortunately not good news on my side. I tested on Thursday which was negative and was also confirmed by bloods at the clinic today. I've had a wee cry but I'll battle on and try again. Im just taking the attitude that unfortunately I haven't gained anythg from the experience but I haven't lost anythg either as I still have my wonderful hubby and supportive family. Wishing all you girls good luck over the next few days. I'll keep watching for your news and hopefully you will hear from me again soon. X
