Thanks sparkle the nurse did say this to me so really am hoping. I’d be over the moon if it’s above 8 but not betting on it! What clinic had the higher one?

Hi Odi,

I am hoping to cycle abroad. So just recently got my amh tested at the 352 group.
I last had mine testing at Rfc 4 years ago, but was never told a figure- only it was fine.
Have ordered a summary of my notes, so will be interested to see how much mine has changed in 4 years.

Hope you get favourable results.

Yes but hopefully private. I’m going away for a week end of June so hoping my treatments can work around it.

Does anyone know if there are different levels to measure AMH, mine is 2.4 and I was told that it was only slightly low, but going by your levels I’m very low......are there different ways of measuring it? Or am I lower on the scale than I was told?

hi jo it depends on what age you are too i think as each average level is different for each age. also are they measured in the same units, some clinics use different units i think from what ive seen xx

Hi Jo,

Sparkle is right- there are two different units. If you google- it will give you the scale of what is low, normal or high for your age. And also how to convert units.
AMH gives them an indicator of how your body will response to the medication. But sometimes the body doesn’t play by the statistics! Plus AMH doesn’t give an indication of quality. So less eggs at EC isn’t always a bad thing.
In saying that, as I am aged 40- there was some relief that there appears to be some eggs left. Time will tell if they are still viable. So that’s why I am planning to have PGS if things work out. A big ‘if’!

Thanks for that, I’m 32 in June, I knew I was classified low but they explained that it was to do with quality rather than quantity at my apt.

Hi jo it just really helps them decide on the drug protocol. I over simulated last time and got 26 eggs ended up with ohss and had to have a Fet. But got my twins out of it.

The nurse scared me as she said it normal takes a significant drop around your 30s so was expecting mine to be a lot lower!
