Baby monitors recommendations/advice for twins

Deciding on a baby monitor is next on our list.

Can anyone recommend current models & what the most important features are?

I'm thinking having 2 cameras would be an advantage but otherwise what are the most important things to bear in mind?

The ones DH has been looking at online are
BT Video Baby Monitor 7500
Motorola MBP 853 Video
Motorola MBP 36s
Philips Avent SCD 603/1

Anyone got one of these & if so are you happy with it?

We've had two Motorolas and happy with both, although the battery on the base unit went quite quickly, we now just have to plug it in, not a massive deal but a little inconvenient sometimes. Quality of the camera picture is very good. I can't remember he exact model but it was approximately £80 I think. We bought one 3 years ago and one 6 months or so ago, slight differences as they have changed a few things but happy overall.

We have mbp 36s. I just checked Amazon!

It's good, it's predecessor model was probably slightly better and the only reason I say that is because the volume on the new one is almost too good! In that when I'm trying to sleep it picks up everything including passing traffic etc through the window. Video quality excellent. I would buy again

Hi dazzle, how r u keeping?
We never went for video monitors, I thought I would never stop watching lol
So we have Angel care with the sensor pads, they r good, the alarm beeps if it can't detect baby, and the monitor gives u the room temp
Annoying we had to get a full set with 2 speakers as really only need 1, we just have 1 on, but both base units on

We have the angel care one too!! Have used it with both boys and never had any problems with it

I used the angel care too and really put my mind at ease as DD has breathing issues. Worked a treat. We still use it and she's 2!!!

I must say I thought likewise about camera monitors initially but so glad we got one as helped when L was sick and I hadn't heard anything but could see the sick ( sorry!), also when E got her arm stuck in the bars of her cot once. I did look quite a bit to start but soon stopped and I still use it now with L who is 3! I also had a tommee Tippee sensor mat similar to the Angel care one for when the girls were little ( worked in their moses baskets bit didn't work so well in the cot) and that was extra peace of mind.

Thanks ladies.

I'm doing well thanks Pip. Feel so much better now I'm (hopefully) over the sickness, & enjoying the gentle punches & kicks at the moment. Going back for 20 week scan part 2 today (couldn't do all the measurements 12 days ago as 1 of them was such a wriggler).

Hope you and your little ones are all well.
