That's great Ashlyn, they obviously see a big improvement if they still proceeding!when I was worried at my last scan were they happy with whatever they saw and nurse said "believe me, we wouldn't even be discussing egg collection if we weren't!"They very no nonsense up there,so if you're booked it must be looking ok hun! Xx
Dreams I googled it leaves ur body at 1000mg a day approx so if u had 10000 dose like me,10 days after ur trigger should be fine x

Hi Lindsay, I don't really know about vitamin c during 2ww I have just read that it's not recommended so I would maybe stop taking it. How long have u been taking it for? What vitamins are u taking? I'm just taking pregnecare. Don't stress about it though! My friend takes a vitamin c drink every morning and has done for years even through out her pregnancy xx babydust

Did you have any cramps or feeling of fullness in your stomach before ec? My stomach feels really heavy today & have a few twinges. Just want tomorrow to be over with can't get it out of my mind

Hi girls.

Giraffe I'm so sorry to hear this, their staff are a joke. I got my letter in early March but yet haven't my nurse appointments till end of may. Every time I rang them up they just kept putting me on hold. Eventually one nice lady came on and apologised my appointments were so far away but that they were the earliest available. Not happy.

If I were you I'd wait till all your treatment is over and then I'd contact them with a complaint, in writing.
They really should have experienced staff working there considering the sensitivity of their patient group.

Good luck in ur ec Ashlyn xx

Fingers and toes crossed for you dreams xx

Ashlyn I was pretty bloated day before and had sharp pains on my right side, but think that's all ur follicles getting nice and fat! Please don't worry about tomorrow,10 mins and ur done and with the morphine in u it feels more like 5 mins! The longest part was waiting on the doctor arriving! If ur hubby is good at calming u he can sit up beside ur head chatting to you, wish id left mine in waiting room tho! Lol x

Hi ladies hope everyone is well. Got my ec this morning & it went great got 6 eggs so am delighted, have to phone at 9 tomorrow morning to see how many have fertilised. Just want to reassure anyone that has still to get ec that there really is nothing to worry about, I was soooooooo nervous beforehand but I shouldn't have been, I asked the dr to give me as much pain relief as she could & I honestly hardly felt a thing, couldn't believe how quickly it was over. I have a few light cramps now & have been told to expect more cramping later & tomorrow but am just so relieved that part is done xx

Giraffe that's awful hope you get your letter soon.. YOu really do need to keep on top of them. I had to ring about mine as seen on here ladies who had been months after me to the grove had got theres. when i rang they said mine would be out within 2 weeks. it arrived 2 days later.
Currently waiting on my review letter as my cycle did not work been 3 weeks but still no word so not sure when to expect it. Although i can wait as at the moment the early pregnancy unit has me scheduled for surgery for tues as they say i have what looks like a molar pregnancy so the worry of that is more important at the moment than a review with dr mcfaul to tell me that next step for me is private.

dreamsdocometrue i asked the same questions about getting more of the pessaries after bfp and they told me as i was a fresh cycle that i only needed the 16 which i got on first perscription but have read other forums and people get them for weeks after their bfp.

Hope everyone else is keeping well and any wee beans are keeping healthy

I only had pessaries up until day after test, I think it's their standard proceedure in the royal.

Hi Ashlynn try not to be disappointed, I had 10 eggs n 5 fertilised and I was disappointed but the I read somewhere about fertilisation percentages and what they expect. So 5 from 10 is 50% and yours is 33% fertilisation which I think is still really good as its do with qualify of egg sperm and ultimately the embryo xx gd luck

Ashlynn I to over analyse everything like but I do like a good fact and figure which is why I contented myself a bit with the stats when I found them! But this whole process makes all our emotions into over drive as it's the biggest deal and you hinge all your hopes on it! My advice is let yourself feel what you need to feel to get through to next step of process! Do not beat yourself up abt anything eg overthinking, because you've already been through so many things and achieved so much x fingers crossed for Monday lol and as iv told a few on here have a good giggle on Monday after proceedure because apparently it helps with implanting.

Dreams, congrats. Here's to many more BFPs on this page. Happy and healthy nine months to you.

ashlyn, I had 13 eggs retrieved. By the time I got to transfer only two were suitable. Had both transferred and BFP. One beautiful baby girl. Think positive.

Lindsey, hope your feeling positive too!

Giraffe, just a bit of info for you (or anyone else on w/l) I was put on w/l end of October. rang RFC yesterday and was told waiting list was 6 months. They are currently sending out letters for people who were put on waiting list on 2nd week in oct. These people are having their first appt middle of May. Said I should receive my letter within next 2-3 weeks.

Ashlyn, yes trying for a sibling. Our first (and successful) was with origin. Couldn't handle waiting on RFC. Unfortunately no frosties. When I had review with RFC (Dr McManus) I gave her all my notes from origin. She said they are going to higher dose/more aggressive approach so that I might have some for freeze but to be honest I'd be happy with one good one!
