Spotting 18 weeks

Hi ladies
Trying not to freak out but this is the second time in 2 weeks that I've been spotting when I wipe. Last night was after a bm (way too much info I'm sorry).
Last week I went to gage Early preg unit and was scanned - everything was fine.
Last night the spotting only lasted a few wipes and I haven't had anything this morning.
I'm waiting to chat to my midwife but wondered if any other ladies had experienced anything similar.
