When to tell GP? (Diabetic)

Hi ladies, We had Blast FET 12 days ago, so not even at OTD yet, but have been testing positive for past few days. Just wondering when I need to see GP? Phoned for appointment but can't get one till week after next, unless it's an emergency. Thanks in advance of any replies!

Great, thanks bumblebee. After 13 years and failed FET, hadn't really thought about next process if it worked!

Hi highlander

Fantastic news on your bfp, most clinics give an early scan around 7 weeks, after that you are normally discharged from there care and you contact your gp/midwife.

I til my doctor around 8 weeks after my first scan but some will tell them at bfp.

Congratulations, I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy x

Congratulations! With being diabetic I would let your GP know as soon as your OTD. Are you type 1 or 2? Do you have any thyroid problems?

Ah, just lost my post! Was just saying thanks Gingerbean and Bumblebee. Thought it was all over today (feel like AF coming) but still holding out. I'm type 1 but found an email address for diabetic/obstretician specialist at local hospital and have contacted them directly (if all goes well I'll be referred to them in due course anyway). No known thyroid issues and have been taking 5mg/day folic acid for about 4 years now.
