Hi Stef :)

Im in the middle of a medicated FET and its taking forever :(

I have been DRing on bruesllin for 2 weeks started taking progonova on Saturday and go for a scan on the 28th of this month to check all is well then the thaw is going to be the 2nd Sept, I started the drugs on the 29th July feels like forever.

Im not handling the drugs very well this time around, im exhausted, feel sick, dizzy and feel so hormonal - All will be worth it in the end if it works....

Best of luck xxx

Hi ladies, a few familiar faces here! I am hoping to have fet later this year. I see the cons late sept and am hoping to start soon after. We have just been sent all the pricing through and it seems a minefield. Will they want to do lots of tests before starting or will my results from 2011 stand?

I am so impatient to get started!

hi there

I am in the middle of a FET. I started bureselin on 12 august, I have down reg scan on 2 Sept and all being well am hoping for ET around 16-20 August.

I am having full immune protocol. I have 3 day 2 frozen embryos and am hoping to transfer 2 if they survive the thaw.

I am finding that I am very, very tired on the bureselin and my sleep is very disturbed.

Hi ladies,

I'm also 8 days into my first FET process following an unsuccessful fresh transfer and no fertilisation on first IVF. I heard somewhere that frozen cycles are more successful than natural, has anyone else heard this? Currently got 5 embryos frozen, 4 at day 6 and 1 at day 5. Due to my age I will only have 1 transferred in so fingers cross to a good first thaw to avoid rest being used!

I've been really tired but not effected so far. I was also very lucky first 2 times getting hardly any symptoms.

Hope everyone's not feeling to horrendous, just think will all hopefully be worth it in end xx

Hi Wopple and Issy, wishing you both lots of luck for your cycle. It is a far 'easier' process than fresh and less stressful on your body, though I found Buserelin wiped be out too. Fingers are very crossed for you all xxx

Ah Steff know how that feels. On my last TX I was 12 days late and am usually like clock work. Think it's partly due to the stress and wanting it to start!

Yeah same I'm usually dead on every 29 days but I no I have been stressed, just a little concerned because my last period was odd, I came on on the right day but it didn't really come to anything it wasn't a proper period then 2 weeks later I came on properly, never happened to me before, and now I'm late, bit worried my body is all messed up right when I want to start FET makes me a little worried it won't work!

Yay starting to show, what happens now? Lol I forget what I've been told!
I phoned the clinic and said I've started spotting and the nurse was kinda like why are u phoning then? I said we'll I was told to phone the nurse when it started and let them no and she said well its not properly started yet if ur just spotting and I said ok but your shut tomorrow so thought I would phone and see what you said as It will be either tonight or to row morning that it will be a full blown period and she said well phone and leave a message then!
Was a little taken back by her annoyance of me phoning, I no they are busy and are treating other women who need her full attention but I was just doing what I was told to do. She also said well your having a medicated cycle so it doesn't matter when u come on your period we are going to take over the cycle anyway, and I thought we'll of course it matters because I've been waiting for it to happen so I can start the FET!

Sorry the woman at the clinic was like that, just want you need when you are so excited (and nervous!) to get started!

You could try again and hope you get someone else? If they are anything like our clinic hardly any staff are there on a Friday afternoon so I guess she is just busy...not helpful though.

They will take charge if your cycle on medicated though so try not to worry about the weekend xxx

Yeah I can see what she's saying but she ruined my YAY moment haha could of been a little more sensitive to my feelings that I'm excited that I can now start it and I wasn't sure if I had to count it from the moment I started spotting or from a full blown bleed so I still needed to speak to someone to ask that question and to tell them I was starting, moody mare she was haha

Hey everyone

Went for the test this morning, and guess what? ?!! :):) good news, it's positive... just soo happy

I couldnt believe it when the nurse told me, I just cried and kept on asking her ' are you sure?' She was like yes im sure, you're pregnant.
After 4 years finally I hear a positive.

Still my progesterone is a bit low so I have to continue with the injection and cyclogest. Hoping everything will be fine. Have my first scan next month.

I wish everyone here ttc and on treatment to get the good news, wishing you luck :):)

Well got the call today and I'm pupo :)
3 of the embryos are still at the 4 cell stage so not developing very well and the other is at 8 cell stage, the embryologist said cos it was developing so well the best place for it was in the most natural environment.
I asked what the quality was like compared to the embryo that became Scarlett and she said its very similar in quality both 8 cells and both had little fragmentation so there's every chance possible it can work again - just a matter of time now xxx

Hope everyone is ok xx

Keep positive Ladybear, it may be pains from the embryo implanting you never know! Keep your chin up!
I had a letter yesterday (sat) from the drugs company saying they've been trying t get hold of me to arrange delivery and that I need to contact them, but I've had no phone calls on my mobile and I checked the landline and the last phone all was from Dh a week ago so they haven't tried calling at all and when I tried to call them they are closed on weekends which means il be phoning mon (tomorrow ) to arrange delivery and it'll prob be delivered Tuesday and I'm supposed to start taking them on weds! It is not good at all! I don't like to leave things last minute they have really annoyed me!
It seems that things arnt being done as professional this time as they were last time and it worries me that that means the FET won't go right, very annoying when I seem to be paying double the price too! :-(

I'm feeling loads better now thanks girls - I've had a few pains lower down kinda stretching nothing like what AF is like, and have a metalic taste in my mouth.... This is what happend last time too! I've been naughty tho an taken a test today and no surprise it was bfn only meant to test on Tuesday but couldn't help myself haha! Know its too early, I am feeling more positive about everything now BUT have prepared myself if we do get another BFN on Tuesday! Not told the hubby about today's test shhhh he will go mad lol!

Glad you got ur meds sorted Steff, hope u don't end up feeling too sickly off them....

Do any of you girls know if its the bum bullets sorry tmi that coul be causing metalic taste?

Hope ur ok too Dusky xx

BFN girls :(
I'm fine tho least I've got my diva, can extra spoil her.

Phoned the clinic and asked was it a final bfn and they said if I used the clearblue it was a defo negative :-/

Wish you all the best of luck with your journeys - end of the road for us unless we win the lottery! Even then tho don't know if I can do this again :( xxxx

Hmmm I've been DR for 13 days now and not 1 little sign of it, I phoned the clinic up yesterday because I'm due a blood test tomorrow but it says in my letter that I should have had a period prior to this blood test and to phone for advice if I've not had one so I phoned and got the same rude nurse on the phone, basically telling me I have still got today and tomorrow to come on that I'm being impatient, I said to her well it says I should have had one and I haven't and to ring for advice are you telling me I should ring on the day of my appointment if I've still not come on she said yes, so just have to waiting see what today and tomorrow brings but usually u no if your about to come on and I'm not feeling it, just so worried that something's not right :-(
