We've just got back from the clinic, waiting on my next AF at the end of the month then we can get started on another medicated FET!

Very excited about trying again, although very nervous about it all too!

Best of luck this month Emma25 xx

Hi ladies,

I am going to GP tomorrow to get referred to the women's hospital, I don't know if we are going for IUI or IVF yet, I suppose the experts will let us know!

They said we should be able to be seen about 2 weeks after we send the referral so am anxious to get going!

Would be nice to keep in touch thought the treatment

Obviously working then! I do love a dose of early menopause!

Can I ask if you had your fresh cycle at Liverpool? What time did they advise you had off after EC and ET? I know it varies grately between trusts?

Thanks

Yhea I had my fresh cycle at Liverpool, I had to have a few days off after egg collection as I had OHSS that's why all my eggs had to be frozen:( Know some ladies go back to work the day after tho. EC you can go straight back to work, its simply like having a smear test! I taken the day off and rested tho, you feel funny when you have a transfer - Know other ladies had felt the same too but everytime you go the loo you think its gonna fall out! I was forever checking my knckers and the toilet altho prob wouldn't have seen it anyway as its that small lol! xx

Thanks for that! I know some hospitals sign you off from EC til you are 3 months gone if it works! Was a bit worried work wouldn't like that too much!

how you feeling?

Really wow that's a long time! I was lucky my work was supportive altho I did have redundancy hanging over my head. Not just me our full department :( No providing you don't get OHSS you will be fine going straight back to work or perhaps book a couple of days annual leave.

I'm feeling much better thanks, less stressed however the slightest thing can set me off! I have had a fairly stressful week if im honest. Its a lot harder feeling like this when ive a 20 month old to run around after too.

Have they told you to call the department the day your AF arrives? xx

Hi DizzyJane, IVF is such a long process - I used to get upset all the time, I have a couple of friends who decided one week to have a baby then 2 weeks later shes pregnant  great for her BUT when we have to go thru what we have too used to get my goat - not there fault just stings knowing its not so easy for some! (That's life I suppose)

Anyway when I had my fresh cycle and 1st FET I had a drug apt one to one- this time tho, because I know what I was doing anyway I had a telephone consultation. Should imagine you will have a personal apt tho as you will be starting another fresh I take it? which involves more drugs....

Hope your apt comes soon hon xxx

Bored of waiting!

Had a very pointless and very expensive 2nd consultant appointment on 1st August. He took exactly the same history as the first one did and then ordered some blood tests that we've already had done but can't find the results for which take 4 weeks to come back!!!

Starting to loose it with the waiting!

How are you all getting on?

Thank you :)
I have 1 x day 3 8 cell with very little fragmentation transferred. More or less exactly the same quality as I had last time that got me my little diva!
We did defrost 4 others 2 one didn't survive the thaw and the others didn't develop to good, they was still at 4 cell stage on day 3 Liverpool will only re-freeze if its a blast.... So this is last chance for us xxx

Wish you all the best of luck with your journeys - end of the road for us unless we win the lottery! Even then tho don't know if I can do this again :( xxxx
