BFP but do I keep checking?

I got a BFP on OTD and over the moon. I'm on cyclogest until 12 weeks; but should I do more tests before 7 week scan? Would I know if I'm no longer pregnant? Can I still have AF if I'm on cyclogest? This is the furthest we've ever got in 3 yrs so trying to stay realistic.
Thank you

Great news, many :congrats:

Personally I would say, 'step away from the tests!'. You've got a BFP and you've no reason to think anything is wrong. I know the waiting is hard but try and take each day as it comes and just enjoy the fact that you are pg!

If you want to test and it helps you then that's a personal choice.

The only thing I will say tests can show positive even if something is going wrong.

There's no reason to think something is going wrong and I know it's not easy but no amount of worry will change the outcome. I wish I hadn't worried as much and enjoyed my pregnancies

Congratulations Lola! So pleased for you! I would say step away from the tests, don't put yourself through that stress and instead focus all your positive energies into your pregnant body. My clinic don't do recurring blood tests even if the HCG is initially good and I have to say I think this is better than the stress of every couple of days going for bloods.

You are pregnant and everything will be fine. Xxx

:congrats: Lola.

I was the same when I got my :BFP: 2 weeks ago (I had previously got a :BFN: the day before my blood test) so I wanted reassurance. All I did was buy a clearblue digital pack of 2 (with the conception window) I used one last Saturday which said I was 2-3 weeks from conception, which basically means you are 4-5 weeks pregnant. And the second one I used yesterday, to check if the conception window had changed, and it had! It had increased to 3+ weeks so that now means I am 5+ weeks. I basically have no symptoms other than tiredness and sore boobs, so Im quite lucky and I'm relaxed now. As the other ladies have said, you have no reason to believe things will go wrong, so try to enjoy the experience. Too many of us stress and miss out on this lovely time of life.

There are a few of us in BFP chatter, come and join us starsmile
