tmi diarrhea and early pregnancy

hi

can anyone help me please?

home pregnancy test showed me i was was pg 4/5 days ago. today ive had very bad diarrhea and im worried cos that happened at the start of m/c's. so basically what do i do? drs dont know im pg as im only 5 wks by lmp, and nothing will show up on a scan if i could get hosp to see me? could it be start of m/c or is it a symptom of early pg that i dont know about.

I had really bad diarrhea in the first few weeks, it was horrendous! It has calmed down but my stomach is still unsettled at 29 weeks. It can be a pregnancy sign, so try not to worry. Make sure you drink plenty and make sure if it gets worse you get checked out at the doctors. I think with me it was partly the stress of worrying I would m/c again that made IBS flare up causing the upset tum.

thanks runningmum,

ive had recurring m/c's so maybe thats the underlying cause.

my doctor has managed to get me an appt at the epu for thurs 10.15, so even if i dont see a fetal pole and hb might see a pregnancy sac and/or yolk sac.

the only thing is my apetite hasnt returned today, so still a bit worried
