Hello lovely, it is very hard to tell whether you will have one or two babies with 2 embryos transferred. No-one knows the hows or whys i'm afraid. You will find lots of people will say yes I had that and conceived twins and lots of people who have only concieved a singleton. I had 2 embryos transferred when I conceived my daughter and no bleeding, but only one took. The other embryo was probably reabsorbed back into the body - i'm so glad that I didn't have the worry from a bleed. Wishing you all the luck in the world. xxx

We have 3 snow babies waiting for us.

As Amazing Grace said, you will not know until the scan. I had two embryos put in, and both stuck - I am pregnant with twins now. However, I was just as likely to have one and no bleeding, as body can reabsorb the one that didn't continue.

I would say just relax and wait. I had a feeling we might be having twins - just can't explain it. We went on holiday and after the transfer, and when talking about embryos we always referred to them as two babies :)

I had two embies put back in and we have our scan on tuesday, i will be happy either way but i am thinking that maybe we are carrying twins as my morning sickness has started early and its quite fierce as well.......might ge wishful thinking though lol!!!! Mind saying that my SIL just had twins through IVF and she is finding it very difficult and has not slept since they were born.

You will just have to wait and see ?(

Hi Hope

I had two good ones put back, and no bleeding and only got one on the scan, so it definitely doesn't mean anything. You'll just have to wait and see! There's no way of telling, even if you were testing your hcg levels, even those can vary.

Happy waiting til your scan ;)

Apparently only one in four double ETs end in a twin pregnancy.

I had bleeding and no morning sickness for ages and ended up with twin girls.
