Weird Ripply movement at the top of my belly under breast bone?

Hi Ladies

I have been pregnant before but I have never experienced this.

When I am sitting up (and only then) I feel this srange ripply movement & it happens nearly all the time. I am 19 weeks tomorrow & can not see anyway that a baby at that gestation is able to get up that far.
Like I said I have never experienced anything like it. I have looked on the web & it seems peeps carrying twins get it, but I just have the 1.

I would appreciate any advice.

Many thanks in advance.

bigkiss

Could it be that she is lying on a nerve that is connected to that spot and stimulating it? long shot I know...... xx

Hey Taxi

I'm getting similar feeling at the top of my belly and on my left side when i'm lying on it and, like Daisy, i'm thinking muscle/nerve having a wee spasm. It's not at all painful but i too thought to myself, there's no way baby could be up that far!! I dont have anything to compare it to as this is only time i've ever been preggers so i'm just accepting everything as being normal. Not much help really, am i??? I guess if you're worried then mention it to your m/w. [zx127]
