symptoms come and go

Is it normal for things to come and go. BFP on 08/10 and from then had AF type pains in the evening but no bleeding. Everyone on here assurred me this was quite normal so I've worried less.
However the last couple of days the pains have almost gone, just occasional mild cramp.
Also my bloating which I've had since starting Menopur has gone right down and my breasts are now less tender than last week.
Obviously I've convinced myself that I'm not pregnant anymore as things have subsided or is it normal for things to come and go.
I'm so confused!
On the bright side I feel better now the cramping has stopped!

Hi ya,

As I wasnt doing tx at the time I wasnt expecting my BFP at all and the only thing that made me suspect I was pg was the fact that I cramped for 2 wks straight! It was really unusual for me.

As for the bloating I have read that it does go after a while, how long is hard to tell because everyone is different. I still have my bloating and Im in week 11 at the moment.

Dont worry, what you are feeling is only natural x x x x

Hey Hun,

Its normal for symptoms to come and go. I remember it well.

My bloating started after egg collection, it never went - just turned into a baby bump instead. 16 months later its now post pregnancy baby fat lol

ruthie dont worry, mine came and went too.

the bloating went intially as my overies started to recover, then it came back due to the progesterone I was on. It got really bad between weeks 7-13 and this was kind of my 'morning sickness'. I started the day feeling ok and panicking that I was not throwing up and then as the day went on I started to feel more and more bloated and then from 7.00pm ish feeling sick and loads of wind and bloated and sore. This then eased at about week 13-14.

I still get the bloating a bit but nowhere near as bad and now it does not keep me awake at night.

I am unusual in that I never had any cramping but most ladies on here seem to get it. Your breast tenderness will come and go too, I remember poking mine to make sure they still hurt! They too were worse in the evening. Sometimes I would not notice them, sometimes would get like a jabbing pain suddenly and sometimes a dull ache. They hurt a lot less than my first pregnancy though on the whole and I think this is because the milk ducts have had to do it all before so the shock is not so bad. Plus you trigger shot will be out your system. Mine this time also grew less too.

All totally normal, remember too you may not get sickness due to the steroids. PLus most symptoms kick in about 6-7 weeks.
